Jane Flegel is a Washington Wedding Photographer who is passionate about people (and celebrating them!) Jane is a documentary-style photographer with a mix of editorial and cinematic elements included during portrait sessions. Although she operates in the Pacific Northwest, she is always available for travel and illustrates love with a lens worldwide. Jane offers a variety of packages ranging from simple to the full experience, including engagement and boudoir sessions throughout your wedding planning process. I am a relationship-driven photographer. I intend to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I want to be your friend and capture what joy and laughter look like on your face! Joyous direction and fun prompts. Who doesn't love spinning in circles with their loved one on the beach? To capture a connection, you must connect. We live in Juneau, AK and when planning our wedding celebration, we were looking online for a photographer. We found Flegel Photography and reached out and from our first conversation we were so excited to work with Jane. From the beginning, Jane was very responsive, receptive, and enthusiastic about capturing our special day. She was adaptable as our plans changed and when she got to Juneau, Jane jumped right into the wedding preparation chaos - both helping and capturing. She got along with our family and friends and felt like part of the group. Jane was a big part of our day, but didn’t direct our actions. Instead, she let us simply be present (our request) and soak it all in while she discreetly captured all the little moments. We are so happy Jane was part of our celebration and helped make our day so special. Jane is so personable and easy to work with, and makes sessions fun! She helped us brainstorm the vibe we wanted, sharing a Pinterest board with us and collaborating on props we might want. We told her we felt really awkward in photos but she made us feel comfortable and told us exactly what to do with lots of direction. She had a creative eye for lots of different poses and activities that brought out the playful elements in our relationship, helpful since we did an outdoor shoot with only one background setting. We brought our dog as well, and she did a great job balancing having her along :) Additionally, when editing our photos Jane gave us 2 different editing styles and asked what we liked best to tailor the rest of the photos. She was very responsive and respectful of our requests. We love the way our photos turned out and used them for our wedding invitations, wedding website, and other purposes!

Couldn’t recommend Jane enough! Not only did she take her time making sure she got all the right photos she did amazing job at building me up and helping me pose the most flattering way! We did a boudoir shoot with 3 different outfits and she made me feel like a star in each one. She is so personable and leads with kindness. 1000/10.
