Jane Flegel is a Washington Wedding Photographer who is passionate about people (and celebrating them!) Jane is a documentary-style photographer with a mix of editorial and cinematic elements included during portrait sessions. Although she operates in the Pacific Northwest, she is always available for travel and illustrates love with a lens worldwide. Jane offers a variety of packages ranging from simple to the full experience, including engagement and boudoir sessions throughout your wedding planning process. I am a relationship-driven photographer. I intend to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera. I want to be your friend and see what joy and laughter look like on your face. We will have more fun shooting than alternative date ideas. Who doesn't love spinning in circles with their loved one on the beach? To capture a connection, you must connect. I learn to love my clients deeply, and that's the true gift of being a photographer. Learning to love new people all the time.

Jane was so kind, easy to work with, and so willing to be flexible- we planned our wedding without a coordinator or planner and she was amazing at rolling with whatever we were doing! The photos came out beautifully and my husband and I were so happy with all of them. We had some really rough lighting during the ceremony and part of the reception, but you'd never know! She really is amazing and such a sweet person- I highly recommend her for anything and everything :)

Working with Jane was an absolute pleasure from start to finish! We first met her a few months before the wedding for our engagement shoot, which was such a great way to connect and get comfortable before the big day. From the very beginning, everything felt so natural—nothing forced or awkward. I truly love her style of photography; it captures real moments in such a beautiful, effortless way. On our wedding day, Jane was nothing short of amazing. The whole day was a whirlwind, but she was such a calming and steady presence—always checking in to see if we needed anything and making sure, we felt supported. She truly went above and beyond. Thank you so much, Jane, for being such a key part of our day and for capturing it all so beautifully!

I ended up finding Flegel Photography on my search for a photographer that had a moody editing and vibe that would fit my husband and I's alternative aesthetic. JANE DELIVERED AND THEN SOME!!! Due to unfortunate circumstances, our entire event fell apart, but we had the venue booked and had purchased our attire, so we had to change the entire plan. Jane's team truly helped us still make the best out of it. They were so kind and understanding of our situation. Jane had so many great pose ideas for both the engagement AND our wedding photos. She was very thorough and attentive to our needs throughout the entire process of booking up until the actual day itself. Her team had SO many good ideas for our castle wedding photos. They also got SO many angles! They really know how to make you feel like royalty on your special day. With how much time you will spend doing wedding photos, I think it's also worth saying that working with them feels more akin to working with a friend. Photoshoots can feel so awkward sometimes, but working with them was a breeze and one of the most fun and comfortable times we've had- even while I was carrying around this heavy dress LOL!

Jane was the best decision we made for our wedding. She gave us amazing value with multiple sessions, captured our love story perfectly, and made the whole experience fun and comfortable. Her soft, natural, moody style is timeless and exactly what I envisioned. She delivered sneak peeks quickly and our full album in a beautiful, shareable gallery. Beyond talented—she’s the ultimate hype woman and truly cares about people.
