Hello my name is Darena , I have been in the photography business for over 15 years. I love a classic true color style. But I also can edit a session to the liking of the Couple, I believe wedding photography is for the couple and not my own style of art. , As a photographer I will be with you more than any other vendor, so it is my goal to make your day as smooth and stress free as possible. I have wiped tears, fixed makeup, encouraged and gave guidance. It is not about just taking pictures but being a person that is there for you on one of the most important special days of your life and for me it is an honor to be part of that.

I am seasoned and have been around many weddings in my career. I am a daughter, mother and yes grandmother. I can handle pretty much anything that comes my way in a calm and rational manner. I will lend a hand in making your day complete. And in doing so we will have fun! I have recently purchased a home in Florida. I spend my time traveling between the states from Ohio to Florida. So I am adding Florida to my business area. I am looking forward to working and creating beautiful moments with the beautiful area in this state.

    The best photographer ever.

    There is so much to say about Mrs.Darena. She was extremely professional, very prompt with her timing. Very personable, she guided us through everything with soooo much grace. Next event we have we will definitely require her assistance she that good.

    Thrilled with Photos!

    We are so happy with our experience and photos from Darena's Photography! Darena was wonderful to work with. She has the gift of reading people, seeing what makes people comfortable/uncomfortable and adjusting as needed. She also has a great demeanor not letting negative people get to her and actually being able to work with them. She went above and beyond during the day helping the bridal party get ready and jumping in to help throughout the day. I also found her rates to be very reasonable. I highly recommend Darena!

Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening no additional charge.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 1-2 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files in 4-6 weeks after all final approvals and corrections are made, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints. All digital files belong to you.
You can expect about 80 to 100 images per hour of photographing. But keep in mind this estimate varies depending on your wedding package, number of guests, venue type, and other factors.
In my 15 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
Typically, couples book me about 13 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame. I occasionally have cancellations so feel free to inquire anytime for availability.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them.
