I’m Amy I am the passionate heart and soul behind Glass and Grace Events. Since I was a young girl, I always lived for planning birthday parties and hosting friends. I have also always been obsessed with weddings – down to Father of the Bride being my favorite movie since first grade. Growing up, my aunt even lovingly referred to me as “Franck” the wedding planner in Father of the Bride. Naturally, as I grew older, combining my two loves: parties and weddings seemed like the perfect combination. My wedding planning career started at the very beginning of my college, working as an Associate Planner alongside an amazing planner in Cincinnati.

Through my time as an assistant, wide-eyed and ready to watch the magic unfold before my eyes, I fell in love with the wedding industry. After several years of working in the wedding industry, I knew wedding planning was something I wanted to pursue full-time. Throughout the past few years, I’ve worked many luxury weddings and I’ve grown to love the meticulous thought and details that go behind each event. I am often found saying “I love” and it’s 100% true. I can't wait to hear your love story and work with you to create the wedding you've always dreamed of! I love seeing couples in love and helping them execute and plan a beautiful wedding.

    Incredible planner

    Amy with Glass & Grace Events was so incredible that I had to leave a review-even as a bridesmaid. I've been in a lot of weddings (and have planned one myself), and I've honestly never seen a coordinator with so much attention to detail, kindness, and genuine care. From the moment the day started, Amy and her team handled everything with such calm, positivity, and professionalism. They made the best of some less-than-ideal weather, kept everything running smoothly, and somehow never stopped smiling. One of my favorite moments was at the very end of the night. As the last song played, instead of rushing around to pack everything up, I looked over and saw Amy and her team quietly dancing and cheering on the bride. It perfectly captured how much they truly cared about making the day special, not just managing the logistics. Everything felt seamless, and the bride and groom were able to be fully present because of Amy and her team. I can't recommend Glass & Grace Events enough.

    Perfect Dayton Wedding

    Amy and her team were amazing!! I don’t know how the day ended with no issues but I suspect it was all them. The month before we were very busy with work and Amy made everything so much easier, coordinating with the vendors, thinking of things we hadn’t considered, and helping with our very last minute decision to put a picture with our guests at each place setting. The day of the team was the silent shadow keeping everything moving and giving a quick nod the few times I saw them to say everything was going well. That night they everything we brought to the venue up to our hotel room so we did not have to worry about it. Would 100% recommend Glass & Grace!

    Working with Glass and Grace Events was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. The owner, Amy, was always available for me whenever I had a question or needed guidance throughout the planning process. I couldn't have asked for anything else when it came to the quality of their work and the value they provided - Amy and her team went above and beyond to ensure our wedding day was perfect in every way. If you are interested in full-service planning, you don't need to know your date - just the time of year you are considering your big day. We will help you plan and execute venue tours and selection, which ultimately secures your wedding date. If you are interested in partial planning or month of coordination, just reach out once you have your date selected and we will get you on our calendar!
We will always have a trained assistant with us on the day of your wedding! No matter the package!
Great question! The venue coordinator's role is to maintain the building, make sure building codes are adhered to, clean the bathrooms, lock up the building, control lighting and temperature, and handle anything regarding the venue. Our job is everything else! Setting up decor, creating your timeline, getting a stain out of your dress, handing you drinks, tip vendors, pack up your personal belongings, and handle anything that may arise.
