Hi, I’m Shayla, the heart behind Chronical Capture — a nerdy, LGBTQ+ owned photography business currently based Southern California but starting February of 2026, I will be based in Boise, Idaho. I specialize in capturing events with authenticity, creativity, and a touch of magic. The Spark Scroll (Basic Package)

Description

This is my most budget-friendly package, ideal for a short engagement session, whether during your proposal or shortly after. It also works well for a simple elopement session before your vows. If you'd like coverage of both the pre-ceremony moments and the ceremony itself, I recommend selecting a larger package for fuller coverage.

A Hero's Tale (Standard Package)

Description

The Standard Package is perfect for couples looking for well-rounded coverage without going all day. This 4-hour session includes 75 beautifully edited photos, an online gallery for easy sharing with all high-resolution images. You'll also receive a pre-shoot consultation so we can align on your vision and timeline. Ideal for smaller weddings, elopements, or capturing key moments of your day with care and creativity.

The Final Boss (Premium Package)

Description

Full-day coverage (up to 8 hrs) with 175 edited photos, pre-shoot consult, an online gallery for image download, and a 10% off discount on any of my extra add-ons! Travel is included within Orange, LA, and San Diego Counties. Weddings outside these areas may incur additional fees in regards to travel expenses, food stipend, and lodgings (e.g., destination weddings). Let’s chat to plan your perfect day!

    Wonderful action Candid

My preference is that you book me at LEAST 1 year in advance so that we have the proper planning done and your day can be captured exactly the way you would like it to be.
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for an additional charge.
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
My turnaround time varies by season. Typically, you’ll be able to view your photos online about 4-6 weeks after your wedding. Within this time, you can also expect to receive access to a password-protected online gallery where you may download images to share on social media.
Depending on the package you get, it differs. For the Spell Scroll package, you will receive 25 lightly edited photos. For the Hero's Tale package, you will receive 75 edited photos, and finally, The Final Boss package offers 175 edited photos. Additional batches of photos are available for a separate fee but must be ordered at the time of booking.
I do! Just let me know if your venue requires a certificate of liability, and I’ll send that over to them. I am insured by Full Frame Insurance.
Elopements are something I can handle right now. As far as full weddings, for now, no more than 100 guests! I wanna make sure I do the best job that I possibly can with the skillset and equipment I have so that I can grow and take on more in the future!
