I’m a Wedding, Elopement, and Portrait Photographer based in the Carolinas, offering both photography and videography services throughout North Carolina and South Carolina—from the mountains to the sea. Whether you’re planning a a coastal celebration, romantic mountain wedding, or an intimate elopement, I’d love to help capture your story!

    AMAZING PHOTOGRAPHY (and a great guy, too!)

    We worked with Chris Zachary Photography LLC for our wedding and couldn't be happier with the results. Chris communicated clearly throughout the entire process and offered pricing that made sense for what we were getting. What really impressed us was how he captured every moment - he seemed to be everywhere at once, getting both the structured shots and the candid moments that really matter. Four of our children have gotten married over the years and their photos were nice, but honestly, Chris's work blew them all away. The candid shots especially were incredible - they felt natural and caught the real joy of the day. We'd recommend Chris to anyone looking for a photographer who knows how to do it right.

    I never had any doubts when choosing Chris to be our photographer. Chris is very authentic, professional, great with communication, and delivers great work. While Chris definitely makes you feel comfortable being photographed he is also amazing at capturing the raw moments. Moments during our big day I wanted to savor he was already steps ahead saving the memories. After that I knew he would not miss anything. Let’s be honest — there are a lot of wedding photographers out there, and the search can feel overwhelming. First, you should love your photographer’s work — not just like it — because their style will shape how you remember your day. Second, experience matters. With nearly 20 years and over 300 weddings under my belt, I bring not only the skill to deliver a stunning gallery, but also a calm, steady presence to help your day run smoothly. And finally, your photographer needs to fit your budget. I get it, weddings are a big investment, your photos are one of the few things that last beyond the day itself, so choose someone who feels worth it.
There are a few factors that affect this — like the length of the wedding day, number of locations, guest count, and how much is happening throughout the day. That said, on average, I typically deliver around 1,000 to 1,200 images. Every wedding is different, but my priority is always quality and storytelling — so you’ll receive a full, beautifully curated gallery that captures all the moments, big and small
Absolutely — I love to travel! I'm available for local, domestic, and international weddings, and have photographed couples all over the U.S. and abroad. My travel costs are additional to your wedding package and typically include airfare, baggage fees, and a moderate hotel stay if an overnight is required. That said, I do not charge travel fees for weddings in North or South Carolina. Planning an elopement or getting married somewhere incredible? I’d love to tag along and document your adventure!
I offer a variety of Wedding Collections along with À La Carte options, so you can create a package that fits your exact needs. After photographing weddings for many years, I’ve found this approach gives my couples the flexibility to get exactly what they want — and nothing they don’t. While every event is different, all packages include 8 hours of coverage, which I’ve found to be the ideal minimum for capturing a full wedding day story, from getting ready to the dance floor.
To officially reserve your wedding date, I require a signed contract and a 35% deposit based on your selected package. The entire booking process is done online — you'll get access to a personal client portal where you can review and modify your package, sign the contract, and make payments. Your final balance isn’t due until the wedding day, but you're welcome to make payments towards your balance at any time leading up to your date.
