Hi, I’m Brian Kennedy, founder of Brian Kennedy Productions in Asheville, NC. I create cinematic, story-driven wedding films across Western North Carolina and the East Coast. My background in marketing, sports videography at Appalachian State, and an MBA from UNC Chapel Hill shapes how I approach each wedding with creativity and professionalism. My style is documentary and authentic, focused on capturing real emotion so you can relive your day for years to come.

What sets me apart is my intentional, one-on-one approach. When you book with me, I am the only videographer at your wedding. I do not bring a large crew or second shooter, and I do not create a paparazzi atmosphere. My style is hands-off and documentary, focused on blending into the background and capturing genuine moments as they naturally unfold. This allows you and your guests to stay fully present while I preserve the day in an authentic, cinematic way.

    Hawksdene Wedding

    Brian was the videographer for our wedding at Hawkesdene Estate in September and we highly recommend him. When we were looking for someone to film our wedding, we spoke with several videographers, many of which felt pushy and arrogant. When we first met Brian over the phone, we could tell right away that he was a great person with a passion for videography, and we had no doubt that we wanted him at our wedding. We ended up spending a lot of time with Brian on our wedding day and he was a great person to be around. He had such a calming presence, which was really nice and reassuring on a day that was otherwise pretty hectic. We loved the videos Brian made for us and really appreciated having him at our wedding!
