Carly Barton Photography is a professional wedding photography service based in South Texas. Carly, the owner of the company, is truly passionate about photography and will strive to capture each couple’s genuine personalities. She will focus on everything from the wide location shots to the finer details, capturing images that seamlessly depict the overall feeling of the day. To satisfy her wanderlust, Carly is willing to travel! Most of her weddings are photographed in the Texas Hill Country and cities such as Boerne, New Braunfels, San Antonio, Austin, and the surrounding areas.

Carly draws upon her 15 years of experience as a marketing and creative director to deliver unparalleled service. She understands the hard work and preparation that goes into planning a successful wedding and will create a calm environment. It's important that all her clients feel relaxed and can truly enjoy themselves while taking photos. Carly wants each of her clients to reminisce with joy as they look at their finished images, remembering each magical moment that took place. I LOVE to travel! If you have a destination wedding in mind, let me know. There will be additional travel expenses added to my pricing packages; however, I'm willing to work with you to satisfy my wanderlust! For weddings in the South Texas area, I will include one night hotel and gas expenses for anything that is 120 miles or more from my home base.
It's my priority to get you images as soon as I can. For weddings, couples generally see sneak peek images within 24 hours. You will also receive hundreds of high resolution edits within the first week that include a sampling from various parts of the day (details, getting ready, ceremony, romance shots, reception pics, etc.).
From there, the rest of your wedding gallery is generally delivered in 2-4 weeks. I will always do my best for you know matter what! If you have a couple of images that need spot editing right away from prints, just let me know!
We can find beauty in any location! This is a hard one to answer because it all depends on the vibe or style you are going for. Above all...LIGHT trumps LOCATION any day of the week. We can spend days finding the most amazing spot; however, at the time of your session, if the lighting is terrible, I will make adjustments. My goal is to photograph you in the most flattering gorgeous light possible.
This makes all the difference! I will bring light modifiers and flash as needed, but sometimes we cannot control the weather and we just have to go with it! If you would like to see samples of my work at various places, just let me know what style or general area you are looking for, and I'd be happy to share them.
After your wedding or session, I will cull through all of your images and remove unfocused or redundant images. You will then get an online gallery with edited high resolution images containing the rest. Because I try to take a wide variety of images, it's hard for me to take images out because I generally love them all! Moreover, based on my experience,
They sometimes are ones that I wouldn't have picked out but have special meaning to my couples. Thus, I want to give you more to choose from. For weddings, you will get a total of 1,000-2,500 images. For portrait sessions, 100-500 images. Depending on your package, I will also make additional spot edits to 10-50 of your top favorites.
I'm flexible! For weddings, a non-refundable $500 retainer is required to reserve your wedding date. Other than that, we can come up with a payment plan that works best for you. I do ask that the total remaining balance is paid out the day before the wedding.
Yes! I deliver each gallery online via a proofing gallery that allows you to identify favorites, order prints or download the digital files. I will keep a copy of all the files from your wedding for many years in the event you need to redownload them or get additional copies.
