    Ruth was absolutely incredible! She captured our wedding day so beautifully - we have so many amazing photos that perfectly tell the story from start to finish. We’re definitely not models, but she made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera and gave great direction and posing ideas that led to truly stunning shots. Her communication was always friendly and easy, and we were so impressed by how quickly she delivered our edited photos. We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer!

    Our pictures turned out absolutely breathtaking. Ruth and her husband made us and our wedding party feel so at ease while taking pictures. The day was so much fun and our pictures reflect the joy and happiness that we felt and that our guests felt. The groom and his jazz band played during the reception and the pictures she captured are some of our favorites. Overall, we would recommend Captivated Joy Photography to anyone in need of gorgeous photos for any occasion.

    Working with Ruth was an awesome experience. She made the process very easy for me. Firstly, the prices for the product were AMAZING. She’s extremely talented- as you can tell by looking at her work. Secondly, all I had to do was sign my contract and fill out a questionnaire and that was it. One less thing for me to stress about in regards to the wedding. I needed to make a change to something I wanted done at the wedding because of a death in the family and she was very accommodating to that. I was actually late to my own wedding because my matron of honor got car sick on the way there and I had no service to notify Ruth, she came in clutch and got pictures of the sunrise I was missing and got some photos of the groom before the wedding for me, without me having to ask! My guests were hard to get in order for pictures because they all wanted to talk but Ruth was able to gather them all calmly and get beautiful pictures of everyone. She is super sweet and made our portraits so fun to take. She got our pictures back to us in a timely manner and abided to her deadline she included in the contract. Our wedding pictures are beautiful and I couldn’t have asked for a better person to help us capture our perfect day

    Ruth was amazing from the very first day we met. She is very knowledgeable about her work and knew how to work with us as a shy couple who barely had an idea of what to do for our engagement and wedding pictures. Her work and style were a perfect fit for us and her portfolio did not disappoint. Would definitely love to work with her again and we constantly recommend her to all of our friends.
