I have been involved with photography all my life. When language was a barrier, I relied on the medium to tell a story while studying in Europe & earned a BFA from the University of Arizona majoring in photography. My past experiences include the Department Head of Photography at a career school in the Pittsburgh area. I learned a ton of technical knowledge while working at commercial & retail photo studios as well as custom photo labs. I live in N. Huntingdon with my wife, Heather, our son, Emmett and always a mastiff!

I love hearing about your Love Story from the very beginning to your wedding day detail dreams. As two professional photographers, we capture every precious moment so you can relax, enjoy and have fun with each other and your guests. Just a fun fact, we are always dressed in formal attire.

    Aaron McGregor Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding day. From our initial consultation, their communication style was helpful, clear and friendly, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. The quality of their work and value was truly exceptional - professional, timely and exquisite. They were incredibly patient with all of the photos and wrangling our large wedding party, and we were thrilled with the final results. Aaron is great - very accommodating, friendly and reasonably priced for the top-notch work they provide. We've hired them for a newborn session in the past as well, and couldn't be more pleased.     We've worked with Aaron so many times, I can't imagine using any other photographer. We used him for our wedding, my sister's wedding and her best friends wedding. Aaron and his team are so personal and friendly, he was by far one of my favorite vendors on wedding day. Throughout the entire day, he kept everyone on time and me incredibly calm. Wedding day didnt have an aspect of time for me. He was able to make every facet flow so perfectly into the next. He (and the day of coodinator) did such a great job working together and making sure that my husband and I could enjoy our day more than worry about anything else. We also did our engagement session with him and I am still blown away by his professionalism. He (I think) is centered in the Irwin area, but was willing to come to Mount Washington for our engagement session. He was SUPER flexible taking pictures outside and inside the incline office. We even got to sneak down to see the mechanics and take moody photos there. Just as we were finishing up, a random person asked us about our photos and offered us a personal picturesque photo opportunity on their balcony that overlooked the city of Pittsburgh. Aaron took the opportunity and got us AMAZING photos from a legend of the Strip Districts apartment balcony. He is able to roll with anything you throw at him and turn it into an amazing situation (with even better photos). Also- if you've made it this far, 100% recommend the Rose Package with the engagement session add on. Aaron lets you purchase the rights to the images (I think thats what its called) and that gives you the ability to print photos without the copyright. Aaron also traveled to Stahlstown (45 min from Irwin) and managed to do all photos from getting ready to the end of the night! Aaron does phenomenal work and I cant recommend anyone higher than him.

    I’ve known and worked with Aaron since 2010. There isn’t another photographer I would trust more to capture the special moments in my life. He’s so professional and the most fun to work with. I cannot recommend him enough.
