Disappointed

I wanted to leave an honest and respectful review, as I relied heavily on reviews when choosing vendors for my wedding day. While I truly hoped for a positive experience, unfortunately it fell short in several important areas. Communication was very difficult from the start. I had to reach out multiple times just to get responses to basic questions. I sent hair and makeup inspiration photos months in advance as requested, but they were not reviewed and I was asked to resend them the day before the wedding, which made me feel uneasy about preparedness. On the wedding morning, she arrived late and spent over two hours on my makeup, which did not align with the look I had requested. Because of the delays, my hair ended up being rushed. While the style itself was what I asked for, it didn’t hold well and quickly became messy due to the lack of time spent on it. She was also unable to complete a basic French braid for one member of the wedding party, and another requested hairstyle turned out very differently than what was asked for, to the point that the person ended up redoing their hair themselves. The overall demeanor throughout the morning was stressful. She was short and snippy with members of the wedding party and expressed frustration about being “unprepared,” which added tension to what should have been a calm and joyful start to the day. Ultimately, the delays caused us to run behind schedule and made us late for the ceremony, which was incredibly disappointing as a bride. I don’t leave negative reviews lightly, but as a bride who relied heavily on reviews when selecting vendors, I felt it was important to share an honest experience. I truly hope this feedback helps improve communication, preparedness, and overall experience for future clients.
