I often tell people that when you get to do what you love, you never feel like you're actually working. I started my journey in Makeup Artistry in 2017 and since then I couldn't imagine doing anything else. My brides and other clients mean the world to me. I want to create an experience that is both personal, exciting, and FUN. It is an absolute honor to get to be a part of your wedding day and I look forward to working with you!

As my bride, I promise to help keep you calm + relax any nerves. I promise to listen to any worries you may have + ease your mind. I promise to laugh with you + probably cry too because girl...I am emotional. If you start crying, be prepared to see me cry right along with you. I promise that YOU are my number one priority. When all is said + done, you will feel like the best, most authentic version of yourself when you leave my chair.

Yes. For all Friday and Saturday weddings I require a minimum of $1,000 or 6 services. If you do not have 6 services, you can simply pay the difference. Don't hesitate to reach out regardless of this minimum and we may be able to work something out.
My travel fee is .75 per mile roundtrip from my home location in Joliet.
At this time all of my services are a la carte.
YES! This is a must. It's the best way to "test" your makeup and hair look prior to the wedding day. AND, you get to meet your artist! You want to make sure everything goes as smooth as possible and this ensures that there are no surprises!
It depends on how large! I know that answer is vague, but I only have a couple of artists that work along side me. I pride myself in ONLY doing one wedding per a given day to make sure all of our attention is on you! With that being said, I may or may not be able to accommodate a large party. It all depends on timing of the day and number of services, but I would love to chat about it!
1000% yes!! This is one of my favorite services I offer to my clients. The service starts right after the last client has completed makeup/hair. You get to choose how long I stay on site (it is an hourly charge). I can even come to the venue and touch up everyone who received a service before you start your night!!
Gratuity is included in my invoices-after talking with a lot of past brides, they prefer it this way! It is one less thing they had to worry about on wedding morning. Your final invoice is due in ONE payment 14 days prior to the wedding date.

    The perfect wedding day makeup!

    Kate was absolutely wonderful to work with for my wedding makeup! She is incredibly friendly, communicative, and professional, and made the entire process feel easy and stress-free from the start. She was so helpful during booking and checked in as we got closer to the wedding day, which I really appreciated. My trial went great, and Kate was very flexible when it came to a few tweaks I wanted for the wedding day. On the wedding day itself, Kate and her associate were both fantastic. My bridesmaids, MOG, and MOB absolutely loved both ladies - they helped everyone feel beautiful, confident, and comfortable throughout the morning. They also were timely arriving and kept on schedule with 12 women needing makeup services. Most importantly, my makeup looked amazing and lasted all day with only minimal touch-ups — through photos, dancing, and everything in between! I would highly recommend Kate to any bride looking for a talented, reliable, and genuinely kind makeup artist. Thank you, Kate!!!

    Kate is the BEST!

    I cannot recommend Kate highly enough. She did my makeup (the bride), as well as my two sisters’ and my mom’s, and the entire experience—from start to finish—was truly wonderful. From our very first messages, she was kind, responsive, and so easy to communicate with. I immediately felt comfortable and cared for. During my trial, I shared that I don’t wear makeup often and felt a bit unsure about what style I wanted. She really listened to me and helped guide the process with so much patience and reassurance. I asked for something soft, romantic, and natural with just a touch of glam, and she absolutely nailed it. On the wedding day, she brought that same warmth and calming energy. She also took the time to really hear my sisters, who prefer a bit more dramatic makeup, and wow! She delivered!! Each look felt personalized, beautiful, and true to who we are. The makeup lasted all day and night. Through lots of dancing, hugs, happy tears, and everything that comes with being a bride. I never once had to worry about it.

    LOVED my wedding makeup!

    Katlyn made my wedding makeup dreams come true! I felt like so incredibly beautiful, from the trial to the day of, everything was perfect! My makeup was so natural but elegant and beautiful. Kate is sweet, kind and overall so lovely to work with! Highly suggest for any bride looking for ethereal glam!
