Faces of Virtue Beauty Studio was founded by DeQuindra "Dee" Rouzan in 2006. Dee is a licensed cosmetologist who specializes in multi-cultural hair and makeup. Dee's passion for the beauty industry began long before her career. At the tender age of 12, Dee fell in love with the “beauty” of hair and makeup. From the intoxicating aroma of her favorite lipstick brand to the placement of the last hairpin, Dee is extremely passionate and an expert in the industry. Dee and her team specialize in delivering and executing luxury beauty enhancement experiences for you and your bridal party.

Faces of Virtue Makeup Studio is located in New Orleans, Louisiana, and provides hair and makeup services. We are the proud makeup partners for the NFL New Orleans Saintsations and the NBA New Orleans Pelicans Dance Team. Voted Hall of Fame as well as Best of Weddings 2020, we LOVE our brides and our brides absolutely love us! Faces of Virtue Makeup Studio has over 16 years of experience, we ensure all of our brides receive an ultimate makeup experience! We love playing a small part in your big day!!!

Incredible HMU for women of color

Dee from Faces of Virtue was one of the best vendor decisions I made for my wedding. I specifically needed a hair and makeup artist experienced with curly hair and women of color, and my planner recommended Dee. From our very first conversation, she was warm, responsive, professional, calm, and genuinely hilarious - the perfect energy during the wedding planning process. My HMU trial blew me away. We wrapped at 1pm CT, I flew home to Los Angeles, and my makeup had not moved when 10pm PT rolled around. That’s when I knew I was in the best hands. On the wedding day, Dee brought two additional artists to take care of my mom and matron of honor. Dee focused on me while Maitee (and another lovely artist whose name we sadly didn’t catch) took incredible care of them. We had so much fun getting ready together, and by the end, we all looked, and felt, absolutely beautiful. For those who don’t know, Dee does the Saints’ cheerleaders makeup and travels the country teaching airbrush techniques. She has a deep well of experience and an incredible eye. I felt confident, radiant, and completely myself. I cannot recommend Dee and the Faces of Virtue team enough. If you want artistry, professionalism, and a genuinely joyful presence on your wedding day, book them!

Faces of Virtue Beauty Studio was a joy to work with for our wedding day. Their communication throughout the planning process was always timely, thorough and positive, putting us at ease. On the day of, Dee and her team took great pride in their work, showcasing their excited skill and attention to detail. They offered care and compassion that truly contributed to making our special day even more memorable. Truly a delight to have had them be a part of our wedding celebration.

Dee was amazing throughout my booking experience and wedding day. She was professional, transparent, and informative. Her calm but welcoming demeanor was a big help during the busy day. She took time to understand my style and expectations, and delivered according to that! She also worked efficiently - we finished on time and were not rushed. The quality of products used was great - my makeup lasted all day and night, and I received so many compliments! Thank you, Dee and FOV!
