Mountain Laurel Floral Designs

Gabby & Pam - Owners

Pam and I are the heart behind our farmer-florist studio, and we’re so excited to share a little about who we are. I’ve owned and operated my own flower farm for the past four years, and I bring an additional four years of experience in both farming and floral design. Pam, my business partner, is a full-time marketing manager with a love for intentional connection—and she’s also a flower farmer herself, with three years of hands-on growing experience. We came together to combine our skills, passions, and creativity into a studio that celebrates sustainable growing and thoughtful floral design.

We are budget-friendly floral designer who believes beautiful work should never mean compromising on quality. We pride myself on using high-quality materials, sustainable practices, and thoughtfully sourced blooms. As a flower farmers, we work closely with seasonal flowers grown here in New England and throughout the United States. We love playing with texture to create depth and visual interest, blending elegance with a whimsical, ethereal touch that feels both timeless and full of life.

Working with Pam at Mountain Laurel Floral Designs was a dream. She is incredibly talented and her process is easy and collaborative. As an avid houseplant keeper, I had originally planned to make my own wedding floral decor, but realized quickly that I had massively underestimated the skill, expertise, time, and artistic talent that goes into wedding floral arrangements. Pam swooped in and literally saved the day! When I saw the final arrangements, I was completely blown away. The centerpiece flowers were absolutely stunning, the bouquets were perfect, and she even made boutonnieres and corsages for the grandparents. These flowers truly made the atmosphere of our wedding. I wish I had started with her from square one - it would have saved me mountains of stress and anxiety. Pam is a true professional who makes her clients feel completely at ease. She worked seamlessly with my day-of coordinator on the logistics and all communications were prompt, clear, and efficient. I was very impressed with how she took my minimal guidance (really just a pinterest board with a wide variety of flowers and our basic color scheme) and created a vibrant, cohesive, modern, and romantic look. If you want a florist who is a joy to work with and delivers breathtaking results, call Pam!

We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services within a 100 mile radius of Killingly CT. We have a $3,500 minimum for floral delivery (and NO minimum purchase for pickup). Since many weddings require a professional set up, we also charge a separate fee for event installation.
We have a $3,500 minimum for full service installations. Full service includes design rental for your ceremony and reception, purchase of personal flowers (bouquets, boutonnières and wearables), delivery, setup and breakdown. We also offer an a la carte menu that you can pick and choose from if your wedding is more intimate and requires less floral design. Weddings under $3,500 are pickup only unless accommodations are discussed and agreed upon.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 8 months to 1 year before their big day. We can work with shorter timelines we just request that you have the above details ready for us!
We offer shadow boxes and pressed flower frames filled with your wedding flowers dried and preserved along with any mementos that might encapsulate your special day. We also work with an amazing vendor that preserve flowers in resin if that is something you'd like to envision.
Consultations are through zoom or in person. They last approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour but can take up to 2 for larger weddings. Please come prepared with details about your wedding like your budget and style, as well as any inspiration you have for your wedding flowers. This can include images of your venue, photos of your wedding attire, fabric swatches, your color palette, photos from social media, and more. The more information and ideas you provide, the better we can assist you. Also, if you plan on using your own containers, please bring them so we can evaluate and give you an accurate quote based on their size.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers and greenery!
