Alex and Rebecca were both designers at Exquisite Petals, when it was previously owned. They fell in love with the art form. Leading them to decide to take over the company together, when the opportunity presented itself. Going on 4 years of ownership, the drive and the passion it takes to make ideas come to life through blooms, reinvigorates them daily. ***This isn't a side hustle,*** its a life goal unlocked and you will feel it in their communication, their commitment and their adaptivity to new ideas and unlimited conviction.

We intentionally chose for 'our style to be, your style.' This keeps our skill's sharp and the creativity flowing. With over 10 plus years of experience in floral design, we are fluent in flowers.     Exquisite petals came highly recommended by brides and my venue, but my experience was extremely disappointing. I was very clear in my initial consultation about what I wanted; unique blooms with burgundy and deep red hues and NO bright reds or red roses. I was very specific about no red roses as the main blooms for the arrangements or boutonnières because I was getting married right before Valentines day and did NOT want it to look like a Valentines themed wedding. The girls were also wearing green dresses and bright red boutonnières next to them would look like Christmas. In my consultation Alex assured me she understood my vision and they could deliver but the types of flower may differ. Ok great, no problem since I didn’t care what flowers they were as long as they were not red roses and fit the color scheme. Day of the wedding, we were shocked to find ALL of the boutonnières and corsages were RED ROSES. Thankfully my husband was very involved in the planning process and knew those were the one thing I specifically did not want and we had an amazing coordinator who made some out of faux florals we were using elsewhere because at this point there was no time to have them deliver new ones. I was also surprised, as I was walking down the aisle, to see 4 bright red aisle pieces. I was very clear I wanted burgundy and would be open to another color as long as they were not bright red. Our moms corsages also barely made it down the aisle before falling apart. It seems we got what was left from their valentines buy. The incorrect florals combined with the lack of communication is what is making give this review. My bouquet was perfect and the aisle pieces, though the wrong color, were beautiful so I am being generous and giving 2 stars. We were never notified that the flowers would be nothing like what was outlined in my proposal. We understand things happen and sometimes delivery trucks don’t make it on time, but Exquisite Petals knew they were not going to have our flowers the day before when their truck didn’t show up and still there was no communication. They had a full day to let is know the flowers were wrong and we would have been more than happy to figure out a way to pivot had they told us. After bringing the issues up, they tried to blame it on my dad showing up early for the pickup when he was only an hour early. In my opinion, the florals should have been done before an hour before the scheduled pickup. They also failed to let him know the flowers were different from what I ordered. They do make beautiful floral arrangements but need to be more communicative with their brides if they are not able to deliver what is outlined in the contract.

    Hi Francesca, We are deeply saddened by the issues you had with your wedding florals. After issuing a refund, we spoke with your Husband over the phone. I wish you were on the call as well, to hear our sincerest apologies. I assured him that yours was the only order we had that week, we do not take valentines orders. You are absolutely correct that Alex should have notified you the day of your wedding, when we were informed the callas we were waiting for weren't going to make it as the truck broke down outside on San Antonio. I was home with the flu, and Alex cracked under pressure, there is no excuse. Just human error. We have taken everything you have said with the weight it deserves. Implementing new procedures to ensure this never happens again. We wish you both a life time of happiness. Rebecca
