    I've had a chance to work with Chic Wedding and Events for several weddings. As a photographer, timing, communication, and flexibility are vital to me. I've worked through +200 weddings and, let me tell you, weddings can and definitely are stressful. You want someone to be there to assist you on the day of the wedding. Sure, you might be able to allocate a friend or bridal party member to handle these things, but honestly, you probably want everyone to enjoy the wedding day. This is where a wedding planner and day of coordinator will be vital. Based on experience, they know how much time each items takes, buffer times, how to communicate, and make sure you are having the best time at your wedding. I've worked with many planners in the past; Chic Weddings are top notch - 100000% worth it. Everything just gets done. No questions asked. Just as I'm about to ask them about any updates on the day of the wedding, there they are providing updates. Any requests I have from the photography side, they are open to. They listen, they care, and they take action - not just for the couples but all the vendors they work it. It makes the worlds of a difference from my point of view. Thank you wonderful ladies~!! We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services within a 50 mile radius of Washington D.C. We have a $3,000 minimum for floral delivery (and $1,000 minimum for pickup). Since many weddings require a professional set up, we also charge a separate fee for event installation.
We have a $3,000 minimum for custom floral pieces. We also offer a complete wedding package starting at $1500 with pre-selected flower types and quantities.
Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception.
We start with an initial Consultations last approximately 1 hour for us to put together a rough proposal. Please come prepared with details about your wedding like your budget and style, as well as any inspiration you have for your wedding flowers. The more information and ideas you provide, the better we can assist you.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day.
Yes! After the contract is signed, we provide one mockup, typically a table centerpiece. We prefer to create this between 30 and 60 days before the wedding to take into account seasonal flowers and time to make adjustments before the final proposal and vendor commitments are due.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers and greenery! The more flexibility you give us, the more we can be creative!
Yes! We offer a variety of rentals for an additional cost from aisle runners to candelabras, arches, candles, mirrors, and more. Get in touch to see our full list. We are also a full wedding planning, event design and do it all company. A True boutique style wedding planning team!
Sorry, we do not offer flower preservation. However, we’re happy to recommend a few local vendors who provide this service. Just let us know.
Yes. Sometimes we do use faux floral or greenery to help keep your cost down and make it easier on our design. We prefer to use fresh blooms as our first option.
