Hi! I’m Katerina, one of the owners of Amaranthos Events. We’re a wedding and event planning + floral design studio based in Northwest Indiana, and I’m all about turning big visions into beautiful, seamless celebrations. From dreamy blooms to thoughtful details, I love bringing personality and style into every event so it feels like you. For me, it’s not just about planning weddings — it’s about creating experiences people will talk about for years.

    Katerina and Lena are simply the best! We have used Amaranthos Events for several baptisms and birthday parties, and let me just say that hiring them was single-handedly the best decision we ever made! From our very first meeting many years ago, Katerina and Lena instantly put us at ease with their warm personalities, boundless creativity, and genuine excitement for our events. They weren’t just florists or planners—they became partners, advocates, and friends throughout the process! I would always present to them ideas of themes that I had in mind, and they would build off of those ideas and make them a hundred times better! The flowers, the décor, the way they tied everything together—it all felt effortless, unique and so “us.” Seeing the spaces for the first time and seeing what they created is a memory I’ll never forget. It was beyond beautiful! What really stood out, though, was how much peace of mind they gave us. They handled details I wouldn’t have even thought about, worked so smoothly with our other vendors, and made the whole planning process feel easy instead of stressful. On the day of, everything ran perfectly. I didn’t have to check the time, worry about set-up, or stress about anything. I got to just enjoy the day. The florals themselves were unforgettable. Guests are still talking about the lush arrangements. The mix of textures and colors was unlike anything I’ve seen at other events, and you could feel the artistry and care in every arrangement. But beyond their obvious talent, it’s the heart behind Amaranthos that makes them so special. They don’t compare themselves to other vendors, and it shows—everything they do is infused with their unique creativity and individuality. They treat each event as if it were their own, and that’s something you can’t put a price on!

    Amaranthos Events was an absolute dream to work with for our events… they have planned THREE big events for us. Their communication was prompt and efficient from the very first interaction, making the planning process a breeze. The designs they created were classy, elegant, and truly elevated every event - there were so many "wow" moments throughout the night. They took care of every little detail so I could be completely hands-off, and I received countless compliments all evening on how beautiful everything looked. I will never plan my own event again after seeing the magic Amaranthos can create. I highly recommend them!!!!
