Underdog BBQ is a local and woman-owned restaurant located in Erie, PA that has been in operation for over two years. We offer more than just barbeque and love to get creative with non-traditional smoked options. Our scratch kitchen produces top notch quality food and flavors that are sure to please the crowd.

With a hands on business owner with more than 13+ years of restaurant and catering experience, along with her stellar team, Underdog BBQ can cater any event from large buffets, to sit-down-serve dinners, baby showers, graduation parties, and weddings, with options for traveling and securing a smoke pit on site. We let you use our menu as a guideline, as we are open to working with you if there are any special requests or personalization you want to be fitted for your specific event.

We can provide individual dairy and gluten free meals and customize fully vegetarian or vegan menus.
For summer and fall weddings, we recommend at least 1 month in advance.
We recommend meeting 2 or 3 times including your tasting if requested. One meeting will focus on finalizing menus and headcount. One to go over final venue and wedding logistics.
Yes, we offer tastings for you and a guest for a small fee. If you sign a contract with us beforehand, we can waive this fee.
