As a Certified Sommelier, Ian Whitcomb worked hand in hand with his chef mentors for over 15 years, creating menus that stood apart from the rest. Respecting minimalism and purity in ingredients, his relationships with local farmers and ranchers keeps his focus on beginning each dish with what the season has to offer. Stacy Whitcomb has spent over a decade in event planning and is not intimidated by outside of the box thinking when it comes to simple, yet elegant desserts. Whether it be Bay Laurel Crème Brulée or Satsuma & Thai Basil Sorbet, she always brings the symphony to a crescendo.

With years in event planning and hosting (including their own wedding), Stacy and Ian's attention to detail won't be exceeded. Ian's experience career as a sommelier allowed him to design and curate a decades worth of private tasting menus in the Dallas area. His approach and passion for sourcing local will add an element of creativity to your offerings that will have your guests talking about long after the party. Stacy has an eye for design both in decorating and in her desserts. From the Kate Spade dinner plates in our home to the vintage Royal Jackson China used in our pop-ups, she will help you find the balance in every detail.

Given the small gathering, Amy and Shawn dared to serve our 'Chef's Pantry Menu'... With this option we offer a small selection of themes, the hosts choose the ingredients from them, then we craft a menu with each dish featuring all four ingredients. This menu featured a choice of herb, of protein source, a spice, and a fruit... Basil, the Sea, Cayenne, and Orange won out for a remarkable meal and the Orange Blossom Tom Kha became a signature dish!

    Fabulous food

    I had the opportunity to sample the food from Pensacola catering at an event they were having. everything was set up nicely and the food was fabulous. All of the food was served at the right temperature. The steak was tender, juicy and seasoned very well. The homemade chips were crispy light in with just a right amount of salt. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients used in the entire set up. I would definitely hire them for future events.

    Great food Awesome people!

    Pensacola Catering was an absolute delight to work with for our event. Their communication was prompt and accurate throughout the entire process, making planning a breeze. The quality of their work and the value they provided was truly top notch. Ian and Stacey truly go above and beyond, showing their love in every bite they prepared.     Pensacola Catering is top notch!!!

    Pensacola Catering was an exceptional choice for our 3 events . They are easy to get a hold of, text back quickly, and always answered our questions.     Foodie’s Dream for Valentine’s Day

    They catered a dinner party, and we were blessed to be invited! The cold soup was a new experience for us, but it was so tasty! Their presentation was perfect. We could feel the love and thoughtfulness put into every course and detail. It was an unforgettable night!


To ensure any food items prepared offsite are of the highest quality, we generally limit our service are to within an eighty mile radius of Pensacola.
We generally offer tastings as a separate booked private chef's dinner. This includes a full service tasting of menu items of the couple's choosing with and can be offered from two to twelve guests. This allows for meeting the lead staff of our team and discussing options all while enjoying a curated meal. We also host pop-up events on a regular basis and invite couples to join us at one free of charge to many of these so that they may get to know the highest quality of food that we serve.
We have helped host events from ten guests to over 200 and pride ourselves on offering the same passionate service regardless of the headcount.
We meet as many times as the couple needs, usually once initially to discuss clarify details of our proposal, then again at the signing of the contract over coffee or lunch to assure the party that we remain available at all times. We do a walk-through of any event space that we are not familiar with and invite any from the wedding party to join us to get to better understand their vision. We are open to in person and Zoom calls as well as planning is already taxing enough.
We have a collection of China and flatware that can be rented from us as company. We have yet to find a better value in either north Florida or Alabama than what we can provide. We also have access to a floral wholesaler and a designer that can assist in decor for a competitive fee.
Absolutely! Our chef mentors were focused on local sourcing and farm-to-table sustainability which fostered in us an appreciation for individual ingredients. We have designed full menus for Vegan chef's dinners and weddings where gluten, soy, alliums, walnuts and shellfish all had to be omitted. We design our menus so that guests may enjoy everything at the feast and not have to worry about which items to 'steer clear' of. We have a sample menu of our favorite allergen-free dishes that can be sent right away. There are so many beautiful ingredients in the world, to not be ready to utilize them all is folly!
We are both in love with and terrified by some of the gorgeous, artistic wedding cakes we have come across in our years. However, we are happy to cut and serve your for small per person fee. We also have offered extra add-ons to compliment or stretch smaller cakes such as chocolate-covered strawberries or honeyed figs if the headcount might exceed the cake size.
We recommend at least 10 months in advance regardless of season as we already have events booked well into the later half of 2026.
We charge $1.25/mile round trip (per vehicle) once outside of a 30 mile radius of Pensacola. For example, a wedding booked in Fairhope, Alabama would only begin to incur this charge after the initial 30 miles were traveled for a round trip of an additional 60 miles (not the door to door 120 miles) we consider the first 30 miles traveled are standard.
