Meezan Kitchen was born from a passion for food, culture, and community. As a women-owned, Palestinian-inspired artisan kitchen, everything we create is handcrafted from scratch, no shortcuts. We bring a unique fusion of Middle Eastern flavors that you simply won't find anywhere else in the Capital Region. From our famous baklava rolls to full savory spreads, every dish tells a story.     Fantastic Palestinian & Levant catering & desserts

    Layla's food and desserts always steal the show! As a fairly skilled home chef who lived and traveled through many MENA countries, I am picky about my Um Ali and Musakhan. Layla is a fantastic cook and baker, as well as an absolutely delightful person. She makes wonderful classical dishes and works with you to come up with customized ones (and accommodates most dietary restrictions). Every time I get her catering I end up handing out her number/card - you won't be disappointed! Dubai chocolate truffles are a must!

Yes, we offer tastings for you and a guest for a small fee. If you sign a contract with us beforehand, we can waive this fee.
We typically connect 2–3 times before your event, an initial consultation to discuss your vision and menu, a tasting session to finalize selections, and a final confirmation call 1–2 weeks out to confirm headcount, logistics, and timeline. We prefer one of the meetings to be at the venue. We're also always reachable by phone or email throughout the planning process to make sure every detail is just right.
We recommend booking at least 3–6 months in advance for weddings and large events, and 2–4 weeks for smaller gatherings and corporate events. Peak seasons (spring and fall) fill up quickly, so the earlier the better! Custom menus and specialty desserts may require additional lead time. Reach out early to secure your date!
Absolutely! We are happy to accommodate a variety of dietary needs including halal, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. Our Middle Eastern-inspired menu naturally lends itself to many dietary preferences. Simply let us know your guests' requirements during your consultation and we will customize your menu accordingly. Please note that our kitchen does handle nuts and common allergens, so we encourage guests with severe allergies to inform us in advance.
