    Exceptional Service & Incredible Dessert

    Working with Maison du Lionne was one of the best experiences of our wedding planning process. From our first conversation, they were professional, responsive, organized, and genuinely kind. Yevy, who leads MdL, was so easy to work with. She was dependable, responsive, and supportive. She really took the time to understand exactly what I was looking for, offered thoughtful recommendations, and ultimately created something that reflected my vision perfectly. I never felt pressured or pushed towards options I didn't want, and I could tell she really understood the pressures of planning a wedding and executing on a bride's vision. There were no surprises, no unnecessary upselling, no overcomplicating. We ordered a custom tiramisu cutting cake and tiramisu coupes for our guests. The quality of their work exceeded our expectations. The desserts were beautiful, perfectly executed, and absolutely delicious. Our wedding guests were so impressed and the dessert was definitely one of the favorite elements of the wedding. I have personally made tiramisu many times so I can particularly appreciate one that is well-made. Many tiramisus rely heavily on cream and fall apart soon after taken out of refrigeration. MdL's recipe - which was customized to exclude raw eggs and alcohol (something that other bakeries I consulted specifically refused to do) - was exceptional. It was light, flavorful, and stayed perfectly set. There was such a great deal of care and expertise that went into preparation. Looking back, our only regret is that we didn't find them sooner. We wasted our time talking with bakers and other cake vendors before I connected with Maison du Lionne. I am SO happy we decided to work with them, and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone who is looking for a luxury dessert vendor who is both trustworthy and talented. Can't wait to work with them again!
