    From our first meeting with Juries at Buttercream Cakes, my husband and I were impressed with their patient, flexible, and clear communication style. The quality of their work was amazing - their cakes are super tasty and creative. They arrived on time for our wedding, set up quickly and efficiently, and were incredibly nice throughout the process. It's not easy to make a gluten-free, dairy-free cake taste good, but Buttercream Cakes knocked it out of the park. Our wedding cake was absolutely delicious, and Juries was able to create the desserts we asked for instead of just picking from their existing menu. The creativity they brought to our special day was spot on. We highly recommend Buttercream Cakes to any couple looking for a talented, reliable, and personable bakery for their wedding.

    I cannot recommend Buttrcream Cakes enough! My husband and I went into our tasting literally saying, “I don’t know why people love red velvet cake that much,” and left saying it was the best cake we’ve ever tried — so much so that we chose it as one of our wedding cake flavors. The cake was one of the most important parts of our wedding for me, so I prioritized finding the most delicious cake in LA, and Juries completely delivered. She was so thoughtful, knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to bring my vision to life. She even offered creative styling ideas that made the design feel elevated and unique. We ended up with a two-tier lemon cake with vanilla buttercream, lemon curd, and fresh berries, plus a red velvet sheet cake — both were absolute hits. Even guests who don’t like dessert came up to tell me how amazing the cake was! Juries is truly an artist and a joy to work with. If you want a wedding cake that tastes as incredible as it looks, she’s the one!

    Buttrcream Cakes was a fantastic choice for my baby shower desserts. Communication throughout the planning process was prompt and effective, making it easy to coordinate all the details.     We are beyond grateful for Juries of Buttercream Cakes and the GORGEOUS cake she created for our wedding day! Our planner (Jenn Davis Events) introduced us to Juries, and from the very beginning, she was a dream to work with. Very professional, responsive, ACCOMODATING and so intentional with every detail. I had a very specific vision: a tall, classy, elegant, and ARTISTIC cake that would tie in seamlessly with our wedding signage and day of paper goods and she delivered that and more. Our cake was a true statement piece. Five tiers of textured, draped fondant, delicate floral details, and a gold acrylic monogram (our logo) that perfectly matched our gold acrylic menu cards. It was not just a dessert; it was an art piece that reflected our entire wedding aesthetic. Flavor-wise, Juries worked with us to create a custom combo of chocolate cake with a caramel and hazelnut praline buttercream filling. It was rich, moist, perfectly balanced, not overly sweet and completely unforgettable (I am already thinking of hosting something so that i have a reason to order another cake from her with the same filling because it was that GOOD!). THANK YOU, Juries, for bringing my vision to life with so much creativity, just as i requested. I’ll 100% be coming back for future celebrations and will recommend you to everyone I know. You truly made our day sweeter in every way and for that we are truly grateful!
