Let Wellfleet help you celebrate your big day!! Named after the peaceful and charming town near the end of Cape Cod, Wellfleet is committed to the ideal that music brings everyone together. Offering cover songs that appeal to the masses as well as accessible original material, the band is perfect for any setting. Don't see that special song you want to hear? No problem! As part of our standard offering, we can work to learn a few tunes just for you!

Wellfleet started as an acoustic duo, but after 14 years of steady gigs around the region, the act has blossomed into a full four-piece rock band, releasing two original albums that can be found on Apple Music and Spotify, as well as opportunities to open for well known national acts such as Blues Traveler and John Mayall.

Yes! Included in our rate, we will learn a few songs by request (generally 1-3)!
While we are pretty laid-back band, we generally dress in a standard all-black (pants and button-down shirts).
Everyone in the band has at least a decade of experience playing in an original band (we've actually released 2 original albums ourselves). Additionally, we're all family guys who have gone through the process of planning a wedding ourselves, so we know how important it is to do this right for you and contribute to a party that will be a lasting memory for you and your guests!
Yes! We can do live or pre-recorded and can provide sound support for officiants and the music for both ceremony and cocktail hour.
While we aren't a DJ, we do have an extensive list of 200+ covers that we can play and that list is always growing! With some advance notice we can be sure to include special requests in our set lists. However, if we can't nail a request during the reception, there's a good chance we know something similar that will satisfy those who asked.
We play a wide variety of music, with covers that range from oldies to Motown, from blues to country, from classic rock to pop, and from folk to more contemporary singer-songwriter. There's a good chance we'll hit everything at some point during the event that will be sure to resonate with you and your guests.
Typically expect us to arrive between 90-120 minutes ahead of ceremony start time. We like to get there plenty early to set up the sound gear, visit each site, and leave a little wiggle room to solve for any potential issues.
We do provide stage lights as part of the reception for a colorful party atmosphere in your tent or ballroom.
When we provide the initial quote, unless there is a material change in the timing of the event, we'll price everything into our rate. If we require lodging or significant travel expense, that will be wrapped into the price. Our goal is to give you one price for an all-inclusive solution that is stress free for you.
