The Love Starved Dogs

We're a new classic rock band that does several country dance songs and some funk. We play song people know and love, can sing a long with, clap to and dance to, with a premium on audience connection and creating special moments during our performances. We also feature a great female lead vocalist named Lee Ann Price, who brings Bonnie Raitt, Linda Ronstadt, Pat Benatar and bands like Journey to life on our stage. Our musicians are also among the finest and most experienced in Texas, who love what they do and it shows.

We play the music the way they were meant to be played by great musicians and great singers with multi-part harmonies. But we come with a heart and a sense of humanity that few other bands can match. I'm a well-known author and public speaker, having written books about my friendship television's Fred Rogers and another, the definitive book on the Tulsa Race Massacre of 1921. I know how to touch people and speak to people in ways that will reach deep inside, and I know how to choose music that will do the same thing. Few bands have that capability, in my opinion.
