Marisa Alaggio Photography

After working in television and media as a video editor and photographer for 6 years, I decided I wanted to spend all my time behind my camera capturing real-life love stories. I have a creative writing degree, and I always knew I would be in a career where I was able to tell stories. Writing led me to producing, which led me to video editing, which led me to taking photos professionally, which led me here, ready to work alongside you to be sure all your visions for the perfect wedding day end up in your gallery after it's all over.

My photography style is documentary meets editorial. I love capturing the real but making it fit into the story of your special day. Images that feel true to you and true to your love! You'll receive photos that feel like a love letter to each moment, preserving the memories of your wedding day for a lifetime. My goal is to have my clients feel like they are looking at stills from their favorite movie when going through their gallery!

    Incredibly gifted

    The best photographer you could ask for!

    We loved working with Marisa Alaggio Photography from start to finish!! She was straightforward, super friendly and easy to talk to making sure to understand our vision for our pictures. For our engagement shoot, Marisa struck the perfect balance between being laid back and keeping everything on track with a solid plan.     Marisa is the best!

    She took photos of my partner and I and we love them so much we made a physical photo album! Marisa made us feel like main characters of the movie of our lives.     Marisa has an extremely unique and beautiful eye

    I first met Marissa when I documented her own wedding. I loved getting to know her then, and every time I would see her posts on Instagram, I noted how beautiful her photography was. So when reached out wanting to photograph weddings, I knew that she would be a natural. Marisa's documentary-forward style is unique to her, and her presence is calming and friendly.

Typically, couples book me about 10 months before their wedding date. I encourage you to reach out as soon as possible about my availability, even if you’re planning on a shorter time frame.
I do on a case-by-case basis! My background is in videography and video editing.
My turnaround time varies by season. Each package of mine offers a sneak peek of about 75-100 photos delivered within 48 hours of your wedding day. Typically, you’ll be able to view your whole online gallery about 4-6 weeks after your wedding.
Sometimes, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers depending on the size of your wedding. Don’t worry, this won’t cost you extra.
