The Kid Icarus Project

The Kid Icarus Project is an award-winning three-piece cover band from Tyler, Texas. We play everything from Conway Twitty to Snoop Dogg, all with our own Americana sound. You'll find us most weekends at restaurants, clubs and casinos across East Texas, and we love bringing that same energy to weddings, private parties and corporate events within 250 miles of Tyler. Lineup: Ian Chandler (guitar, lead vocals), Stacy Shew (bass, backing vocals) and Mike Hill (drums, backing vocals).

Our real draw is the crowd having a good time. We read the room and mix decades and genres, from classic country to '90s hip-hop, so grandparents and college friends all end up on the same dance floor. As a tight three-piece we bring big-band energy without big-band logistics, and we provide our own sound system, ceremony mics, lighting and music between sets.
