Great mixing, but problems with ceremony

When it came to mixing, Jesse showed genuine skill — songs flowed seamlessly into one another, and he had a clear talent for keeping energy moving on the dance floor, despite some audio glitches. That part of the evening was genuinely enjoyable. One thing to note though was he played a ton of Justin Bieber, which wasn't terrible, but not requested by myself or the groom. Maybe a guest kept requesting it? I'm not totally sure, but I had a bunch of people asking if I was a Belieber that night. The ceremony, however, was a different story. We had sorted out every detail in advance, so it was disappointing when things didn't go as planned. Rather than the groom's requested song for the bridal party and his entrance, a different track (requested to play after the groom's song) played on repeat. Jesse was stationed outside the ceremony room, which may have contributed to some miscommunication with the venue coordinator or missed cues. There was also no music for the recessional, despite a specific song being requested. Audio was a consistent issue throughout the ceremony as well. We had to track down the microphones for the toasts, despite Jesse telling us they'd be set up and ready to go at dinner time. During the ceremony, mic levels were far too low the entire time, making it difficult for guests to hear the officiant and vows, and the video hard to understand. There's clearly talent here when it comes to the reception side of things, but a wedding DJ needs to deliver on the ceremony just as much as the dance floor.
