About Prairie Quartet

The Prairie Quartet

The Prairie Quartet's core musicians love DFW, and care about making your event music reflective of our time and place. Take your ceremony, cocktail hour or other event to the next level with beautiful, live string quartet music. We take pride in our ability to set a mood and put your guests in a fun or romantic frame of mind. The best part? You can be as hands-on as you like with your music selections, OR let our seasoned professionals worry about it for you. Our large variety of available music will be sure to fulfill your specific needs.

Becca Watson is a Fort Worth native and began violin studies at the age of three. After meeting Matt Bethe in 2003, Becca was able to bring her chamber music skills to the forefront, and the two players have been successful ensemble musicians together ever since. Stylistic diversity - making various styles of music sound both authentic and natural - as well as great technique and on-the-spot flexibility, are hallmarks of Becca's playing. She arranges new music for the group and can use any recording to make the perfect sound for an event.

All black, extremely professional.
Both! We can be booked in 15-minute increments after the first hour, so you can tailor the length of your cocktail or photo hour.
Yes! We will look for an arrangement of the song, but if one does not exist already we can arrange a song from the recording for an additional fee. Arrangements that are already made typically cost around $15, but we often do not charge couples for a song if we think we will use it again in the future.
Yes!
The leader of the group will arrive one hour before the ceremony start time to set up stands, and to go over cues with the coordinator or officiant.
We currently serve Tarrant, Dallas, Denton, Collins, Parker, Johnson, and Wise counties, usually with no travel fees added. For events outside the DFW metroplex or in far-flung areas, we will charge a reasonable travel fee per musician.
