One of Atlanta's most exciting string groups - Piedmont Strings is the perfect ensemble for your special day or event. Since 2015, Piedmont Strings has been wowing audiences performing genres like Classical, Pop, Rock, Hip Hop, R&B, and string quartet renditions of all of your favorite hit songs! Our mission is to create a beautiful and memorable soundtrack to your special event. If there is a special song you would like us to play which is not on our list, let us know and we can arrange the song especially for you for an additional fee. We can be booked in the form of a string quartet, trio or duo.

    Best quartet

    Piedmont Strings Quartet made our wedding day feel truly special. From our first conversation, they were easy to work with and got back to us quickly whenever we had questions. During the cocktail hour, they kept the energy going and got everyone in the mood to celebrate. When it came time for the ceremony, they set the perfect tone that carried through the rest of the evening. Their arrangements were well composed and really showed how much care they put into the music. We felt like we got incredible value for what they delivered, and we'd hire them again in a heartbeat.

    Incredible music

    We had a great experience working with Jen for our wedding. We had a slightly complicated set up, and there was great communication and flexibility. Everything went well and I cannot recommend enough!

    Ceremony Music

    Piedmont Strings was incredibly easy to work with and we received so many compliments about them! They were able to accommodate my requests for our recessional without any issue. My only wish is that I had been able to sit with the guests and enjoy their music!

    Wedding Planner Recommendation

    We have been in business for over 15 years and have worked with many strings groups in that time. I was very impressed with Piedmont Strings professionalism. They were communicative and easy to work with. We will recommend them to all of our clients moving forward!

We normally wear all black dress clothes (black dress shirt, black dress pants/skirt, black dress shoes.) We are able to wear formal black clothing (Tuxedos, long black dresses) on request.
There is a $100 deposit and $35 administration fee. The $100 deposit it is added to your final balance. The $35 administration fee is not added to your final balance.
We need enough space to fit chairs for each member of the ensemble. We will bring our own music stands. We will need chairs without arms provided for us. We can fit under a 10x10 tent.
We normally arrive 30 minutes before the prelude music begins.
Yes. We play many outdoor weddings! Direct sunlight can damage our expensive instruments. If your ceremony is in a sunny location we will need something to provide us with shade so we can keep our instruments safe. In addition, our instruments cannot be exposed to water (rain or extreme humidity.) Some sort of covering is necessary if there is a risk of rain (a canopy, porch, tent, etc)
Normally we do not require microphones or amplification. If your wedding or event is over 300 people at a very large venue we recommend just one microphone that we can put in the middle of us. For most average size weddings we do not require amplification (even for outdoor weddings.) We do not supply sound equipment.
Nope! You will need to e-mail us your song list at least 1 month before your ceremony. We will need choose the following songs: Mothers/Grandmothers Entrance Song: Bridesmaids Entrance Song: Bridal Entrance Song: Recessional Song: We can offer suggestions if you are having trouble deciding. Please visit our "Repertoire" page for an updated list of our music.
We are more than happy to make a custom arrangement of any song that you would like. We charge $50 per custom arrangement. This can be added to your final balance. Please visit our "repertoire" section of the website for a complete list of our repertoire. We have a pretty extensive list so custom arrangements are fairly rare.
Our travel fees are listed on our "Services" page. We require a $100 deposit that is added to your final balance. We also require a $35 administration fee that is not added to your final balance. The $100 deposit and $35 administration fee are due at the time of booking. If you choose to have us make a custom arrangement the cost is $50 per custom arrangement.
In the event that a client needs to cancel our services, they will not be required to pay the remaining balance up until 2 weeks before the ceremony. For cancellations within 2 weeks before the ceremony, the total balance will still be paid by the date the outstanding balance was originally due. The $100 deposit and $35 administration fee will not be refunded in either scenario.
