Pay the Reckoning

Pay the Reckoning is a traditional Irish band based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. From haunting slow aires, lively jigs and reels, to poignant songs, we provide a polished and engaging performance. We'd love to help you make your special day magical through the beauty of Irish traditional music. We know planning a wedding can be hectic so we strive for clear communication and pricing. Please note the following: --Wedding Ceremony including 30 minutes of prelude music. Starting at $1200 --Additional hours such as Reception and/or Cocktail Hour. $600 per hour. –Additional fees for travel (over 30 miles) and PA system use may apply.

The elegance of Irish traditional music lends a unique flair to any wedding. We can provide beautiful slow aires for your ceremony or foot-tapping jigs and reels perfect for cocktail hours and receptions. There's truly nothing like a live band!

Our essential ceremony package includes 30 minutes of prelude music and ceremony music. Any additional hours and events, such as cocktail hour, reception, etc. start at $600. Please note, additional fees for travel and equipment may apply.

    Our guests say "Best Wedding Band Ever"

    Our guests said our wedding was the most fun they've ever been to, and we know it wasn't because of the cash bar. Pay the Reckoning brought even the Presbyterians out on the contra dance floor, no sauced conga line needed. Your friend's ex's cousin who DJs on the weekends will NOT bring the infectious energy of Pay the Reckonings' jigs and reels --- there's a reason these tunes are Euro dance hits for 300 years running. This band also sets the stage for a lovely ceremony too --- move over Pachelbel and Christina Perri. Foreboding name aside, an absolute pleasure to work with! If you want to have a wedding soundtrack beyond the tried and typical, look no further.
