Hi! I’m Matthew, a wedding private event DJ for the NYC region. For years, I’ve made creating unforgettable celebrations my passion. I specialize in reading the room and crafting the perfect soundtrack for your special day. Nothing excites me more than getting to know my clients, understanding their unique style, and making sure everyone hits the dance floor.

I focus on the music; unique tracks, cross generational connectors, new and old bangers, leaving the cliche wedding soundtrack behind. I aim for minimal mic time, making only the necessary announcements, while others might repeatedly interrupt the flow with unnecessary mic chatter,

    The one and only MR. DJ

    Mr DJ was the perfect choice for our wedding entertainment. From the very first call, we could tell they were fun and on the same musical page as us. He was perceptive to our music preferences and provided playlists upon playlists of songs for us to choose from to keep every moment moving naturally . On the day of, Mr DJ seamlessly blended my wife and I's eclectic music style, keeping the dance floor packed all night. Their music selection was spot on, giving everyone at the wedding something to enjoy. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ to make our special day complete!

    The very best

    Matt was exactly what we were looking for at our son’s wedding. Kept the party going, but was not obtrusive at our elegant, fun affair.His timing was professionally exceptional and he was so easy to work with. He is not the typical run of the mill DJ that just blasts too loud music and thinks he’s the star of the affair…he instinctively builds the evening which ended in rollicking dancing crescendo of friends and family. Many guests complimented me and questioned where I found this fabulous find!

    Great Music and Smooth Coordination

    We were very happy with Matthew as our wedding DJ. He was professional, communicative, and made the process easy from the start.     Could not have ever dreamed of a better DJ for our wedding!

I like to keep things smart and professional, suits for weddings, maybe a sports coat for other events. Usually black tie, white or black dress shirt, black slacks, black shoes and a dark blazer. I make sure I could be mistaken for a guest in your photos. There are never logos on me or my equipment.
I am constantly digesting new music on a daily basis, I like to share my best finds on TikTok and Instagram.

Travel within a 50-mile radius of NYC is included in my $2,000 wedding package. For venues 50-100 miles away, a $300 flat travel fee applies. Venues 100-200 miles out have a $500 fee. Beyond 200 miles, requiring air travel or overnight stays, incurs a $1,000 fee. Client to cover the costs of airfare and accommodation for travel that requires flying and overnight stays. These flat rates cover all travel expenses, offering clients straightforward and transparent billing.
