We decided to name our business Exodus Sound Company because it is always our goal to walk our own path as entertainers. We’re going exciting places that are uncharted in the wedding entertainment business. The journey of the last few years has led us to a new kind of business. One that combines live music with DJ for the seamless event filled with variety and exploding with unique wonder at every turn.

A must book wedding musician and DJ!!
Mark was the very first DJ we interviewed, and after our conversation, we knew we didn't need to look any further. He was incredibly easygoing, personable, and flexible throughout the entire planning process, making music one of the easiest parts of wedding planning. He gave us the option to create a detailed playlist or simply describe the vibe we wanted, and he would take care of the rest. During such a busy and sometimes overwhelming season of planning, it was a huge relief knowing that Mark had everything under control. We never once worried about the music because we trusted him completely. What really sets Mark apart is that he offers so much more than DJ services. He beautifully sings and plays the keyboard, and he can also provide an incredible string duo for your ceremony. The live music added such an elegant and emotional touch to our wedding. Our guests couldn't stop talking about how beautiful the strings sounded during the ceremony, how wonderful the live singing was during dinner, and how perfectly the dance floor music kept everyone celebrating all night long. Mark has an amazing ability to read the room and keep the energy exactly where it needs to be. The dance floor stayed packed, and guests of all ages had an incredible time. He was worth every penny, and we truly believe our reception was as successful as it was because of his talent, professionalism, and experience. We would recommend him to anyone looking for an unforgettable wedding musician and DJ.

We love Exodus Sound Co!
We cannot recommend Exodus Sound Co. enough! They provided the music for every part of our wedding day, and each piece was absolutely incredible. We had a violinist and cellist for our ceremony and cocktail hour, Mark singing and playing piano during dinner, and Mark as our DJ for the reception. Every transition throughout the day was seamless, and each part of the experience exceeded our expectations. Our ceremony music was absolutely beautiful. The violin and cello played every song flawlessly, including the transitions between our processional songs. It created such an emotional atmosphere, and we had so many guests tell us afterward how gorgeous the ceremony and cocktail hour music was. During dinner, Mark sang while playing the piano, and all we can say is WOW. If we hadn't been watching him perform, we would have thought we were listening to a recording. His voice is absolutely incredible. We gave him a general idea of the vibe we wanted during dinner, and he completely understood the assignment. It was elegant, relaxed, and the perfect soundtrack for the evening. We had friends and family from all over the country joking that they would come back to Texas just to have Mark sing at their weddings because they were so impressed. Then came the reception, and Mark absolutely crushed it as our DJ. Before the wedding, he had us send over some of our favorite playlists and most-played songs so he could get a feel for our music taste. It was obvious he took the time to understand what we loved because every song felt like it belonged. The dance floor was packed all night long. There wasn't a single song where people weren't singing along or dancing. He did an amazing job reading the crowd and keeping the energy up from start to finish. One of my favorite moments happened while we were outside taking photos. Mark played one of my all-time favorite songs, and I came running back inside just as it ended. Without missing a beat, he restarted the song so I could enjoy it. It was such a small gesture, but it meant so much and perfectly reflects how attentive and thoughtful he is. Mark also worked with us beforehand to edit our parent dance songs to the perfect length. The transitions were seamless, and everything felt so natural. Throughout the day, he worked flawlessly with our planner and the rest of our vendor team, making everything run smoothly behind the scenes. If you are looking for a team that can do it all, beautiful ceremony music, an unforgettable live dinner performance, and an incredible DJ who keeps the dance floor packed, Exodus Sound Co. is it. They are exceptionally talented, professional, and genuinely care about creating an amazing experience. We are so grateful they were part of our wedding day and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Mark was awesome! He played piano and brought his colleague to play violin during our ceremony which was beautiful. During dinner they sang live which was so fun and our dance floor was very lively all night with the music he played! Would highly recommend Mark!

Amazing, friendly, talented musician/DJ/emcee!!!
We were beyond impressed with Mark! Not only is he a fantastic DJ, but he's a skilled pianist, singer, emcee, and overall entertainer. Our guests loved him and kept bringing up how amazing he was even months after our wedding . He was recommended by a friend who'd attended a wedding where he played and we similarly have shouted his praises! We hired Mark for our wedding reception. We had a fantastic interview with him where he got a feel for what we liked, our story, and our vibe as a couple. We had a long "do not play" list which might have limited a basic wedding DJ, but not Mark. He went off of our favorite songs, artists, and genres and kept our guests on the dance floor. My only "complaint" is that the songs were so good that I kept delaying the cake cutting (not a big deal at all) because I didn't want to leave the dance floor! He is incredibly engaging and professional. His emceeing was spot-on: his timing was perfect, he kept things organized, and he took care to get all the names and pronunciations correct (which seems like a little thing, but I've seen it go wrong so many times and you don't want that!). He brought all his equipment, so we didn't have to worry about anything. The mics and sound were the perfect volume for speeches etc. and there were zero technical issues. Absolutely seamless. Our budget for a DJ was a few hundred less than what we paid for Mark, but the difference in cost was worth it many times over for having a DJ of his caliber plus the added treat of live music. Honestly, what we paid was a bargain and I'm beyond glad and relieved we went with Mark rather than hunting for a cheap DJ/experience (especially after attending so many weddings lately and seeing the wide range in what you can get). Mark sang and played piano during dinner, which was really nice. While people could talk and enjoy their food, some of the singing was so good I had to stop and listen at times! He has runs for days (some swooning during 'Tennessee Whiskey') and Grandma loved that he did some Sinatra. Overall, not only was he a reliable, timely, communicative vendor, but he helped make our wedding the best night of our lives with his musicianship. Things couldn't have gone more smoothly. Not only would I hire him again in a heartbeat, I tried to get him for our company holiday party but he was already booked (not surprising given how great he is!). Highly recommend!!! Thanks, Mark!
