We design events that look stunning, sound immaculate, and feel true to your vibe. Our process is collaborative. From the first conversation, you work directly with your DJ to shape the soundtrack, set must-plays and do-not-plays, and map the flow so every transition feels effortless. Ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception each get their own plan, with the right mix, the right volume, and the right energy. The result is a packed dance floor and a celebration that feels personal.

We are more than DJs. Elevate your day with à la carte options like ambient uplighting, intelligent dance-floor lighting, media displays, social and photo booths, live musicians, and signature effects such as dancing on a cloud and CO2 Cannons. We can't say enough good things about BEG Event Group and our wedding DJ, Drew. He absolutely crushed it! From start to finish, he nailed the vibe. Our wedding guests kept coming up to us all night saying how much they loved the music, and they still can't stop talking about how much fun the dance floor was. Drew played such a great and versatile mix through the entire night in line with what our vision was - ranging from bluesy cocktail hour music, to indie pop during dinner and high energy angsty teen music during dancing. And even though our dance floor was tiny, he somehow got everyone up and dancing. It turned into one of the most fun and memorable parts of the whole day. Drew was also extremely communicative leading up to the wedding and made everything super easy. He coordinated with our venue and officiant to ensure everything went smoothly - and it did! If you're thinking about going with BEG Event Group, do it. You won't regret it!

BEG has been around for over a decade! All of our DJ's have a minimum of 5 years of experience as a professional DJ and event host, with most having 10+!

This is not required in our agreement and is completely up to you. Typically, the catering director or event coordinator will set aside a meal or boxed dinner for the DJ if requested by the client.

You can select songs that you would like to hear at your event (as well as songs you don’t want to hear) through our online planning system. The number of songs you request is totally up to you! We do recommend giving your DJ at least 10-15 songs of different artists and genres that you would love to hear, as well as a few songs/artists that you don’t want to hear.

Totally! Working with a professional DJ is a partnership and we're all for hearing what you love! During the planning process, we'll ask about music, and this is the time to let us know exactly what you want! Keep in mind that while not impossible, it is more difficult to add songs we don’t have mid-event. So if we get your tracks beforehand, we can make sure they’re ready to rock on the big day.

All we need to get started from you is your retainer. That retainer holds your event date and is subtracted from the final balance. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your event date. We try to make making payments as simple as possible. You’re welcome to use debit, credit, Venmo, or check to make all of your payments.

We always recommend that is good timeframe is at least six months before the event. This will help ensure that your date is available and give you plenty of time to plan. However, we have DJ's available for last-minute events as well.
