Built in 1861, the building started as a hotel & storefront– soon after completion the Civil War began & the building became the Barracks for Civil War enlistees, including the first Michigan Colored Infantry. After the war, the Thompson family bought the building & it became known as Thompson Block. Throughout the years, the building thrived & was home to many different businesses. In 1950, the Thompson family closed their doors & put the building up for sale. Businesses came & went but ultimately the building was left to rot.

Stone Chalet is a great place to have and to hold your wedding, reception and rehearsal dinner. When you rent the entire facility you'll have complete privacy and connection with your closest family and friends. Stone Chalet is only available for weddings under 100. The spaces at Stone Chalet are very flexible and each wedding party has shown us how creative people can be with the use of all the spaces. We'll be happy to share ideas and work with you on creating your day or weekend to remember.

Our venue is a lounge/club located on South U near the campus perfect for after wedding parties and celebrations! We have a lighting system, a DJ booth, and the ability to do karaoke. With a full bar located in the room, 2 restrooms as well we also have a full kitchen with very limited food options.

Our second floor space has the capacity for dinners, parties, after party receptions, wedding rehearsal dinners, and private events for up to 40 people. It’s been our pleasure to host graduations, retirements, and birthday parties in our private dining space, and to give these celebrations the atmosphere and attention they deserve. We have also been host to many University of Michigan department functions and have menus that are geared towards fitting the UM guidelines to make the planning process hitch-free.

Located on the corner of Huron and Ashley, the Greyline is is the perfect location for your wedding or wedding related celebration! We can host receptions, elopements, intimate ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, showers, and/or post-wedding brunches. The Circ Bar and Root is a gorgeous dual venue that offers an experience unlike anything else. It has rich history dating back to the 1850's where it was most likely the first brewery in Ann Arbor. This historic building combines the original wood, brick, and stone with modern elements to create a stunning industrial bar setting. Guests often begin their day enjoying the open air with a ceremony on our Roof Deck. Our Lounge, with its large windows overlooking the Roof Deck, sets the perfect scene for cocktail hour. In 1999, the Frutig family purchased a historic farm on the West side of Ann Arbor, home to two barns dating back to the 19th century. Inspired by their daughter's wedding in 2009, Kelly launched Misty Farm, offering a picturesque setting for weddings. The success of Misty Farm led Kelly to restore a neighboring farm, giving birth to The Valley.
