Mark and Karlen have been restoring the farm for 19 years, one thing has been maintained as much as possible in its original form, the barn. The historic late 1800’s bank barn has many of the original board siding, only to be replaced in-like when needed. It boasts a very large 4 bay layout with the original chestnut flooring. The board siding allows the light to dance off the beautiful wood floors. It is a privilege for Mark and Karlen to invite you into their treasured barn and grounds.

The Manor at Mountain View was the perfect find for the owners. The rustic feel with modern-day conveniences was a must. But, what was also a must was to have a venue that the word beautiful could not even describe it but, yet to keep it affordable so that so many people could come and enjoy this spectacular piece of property. The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. It brings the family great joy to see so many people happy when they visit the property and to be able to share so many events with the individuals that rent the property is a joy that is indescribable.

Caboose Farm is a beautiful, rustic wedding venue located in Sabillasville, Maryland (just north of Frederick, MD) that blends beautiful scenery with convenient accommodations. Located in close proximity to Baltimore; Washington, D.C.; and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the venue offers a charming 220-acre space with access to attractions such as golf, wineries, and hiking. Its scenery also provides a beautiful backdrop for events, with scenic wedding sites to choose from, countryside barn, and pastoral farms and pastures. Inside the event buildling we can comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests for a seated dinner. For groups over 150, we would have to bring in a tent for the dinner portion of the evening. The property offers seven fully furnished houses on its premises that can, collectively, accommodate 97 guests. The stone barn is heated and air conditioned to allow for use year-round, and provides beautiful views of the well-maintained grounds. The property also has a cottage and bridal suite for the wedding party to prepare before the wedding day begins. The gorgeous outdoor scenery provides the perfect backdrop for outdoor ceremonies. Indoor ceremonies can be held at the Wedding Chapel, a mid 19th century church - renovated and temperature controlled. The chapel is also available for receptions.

Complete with hardwood floor, the tent can accomodate up to 275 guests comfortably, and still has space for a large dance floor.
