Kassidy Conlon is a cellist and a local orchestra teacher who earned her degrees from Montana State University - Bozeman. In addition to a school orchestra program, she leads a middle school Fiddle Club and a Full Orchestra. She teaches private cello and bass lessons and is the low strings professor for Montana State University - Billings. Kassidy also performs with the Great Falls and Billings Symphonies, plays cello for yoga classes in Billings, and performed with Disturbed at the Metra in 2019. When not teaching, playing, and sharing music, Kassidy is most likely reading, golfing, or adventuring in the Beartooth Mountains with her family.

The Proper Way began when multi-instrumentalist singer-songwriters Shane Osguthorpe and Scott Rogers met while playing a local festival. They established themselves as The Proper Way in 2016, when a promoter invited them to come for a series of shows in Lake Tahoe. After touring nonstop for two years, the band joined forces with friend and fellow singer-songwriter Carrie Myers to release Ain't No Good Thing Ever Dies, a collection of songs by Bob Dylan and Tom Waits, in 2018.
