“We are so grateful to the entire team at Melhorn Manor for making our wedding day happen!! It's hard to even know where to begin - from start to finish, every detail of the day was magical thanks to the team's hard work and expertise. When my fiancé and I started the wedding planning process, we toured plenty of venues, but we knew right away that Melhorn Manor was different in the best way. We were used to being rushed through other venue tours, dismissed because our wedding wasn't big enough, and generally being made to feel more like dollar signs than excited newlyweds-to-be. But our experience at Melhorn Manor couldn't have been further from this - we met Allory for the tour, and before we took a step through the property, he took the time to introduce himself and the Melhorn family and to share the lovely story of how Melhorn Manor came about. We didn't feel rushed or pressured like we had at other venues, and Allory really took the time to understand our vision for our big day and help us imagine it around the property. We left that day glowing and feeling sure that "this is the one!" And how right we were!! We really can't say enough positive things about our wedding day. Getting ready in the amazing bridal suite and Groom's room was such a fun and special way to kick off the day. As the ceremony approached, it was so clear that the team was all working so hard to make sure all the decor was set up, every detail was thought through, and every moment went off without a hitch. What a special and humbling feeling it is to have so many people invested in making your special day as magical and memorable as you've always hoped it would be - it's impossible to express the depth of our gratitude. Our wedding day was quite a rainy one, but the Melhorn team had a plan for everything. Melhorn Manor had the most robust rain plan of any venue we toured: some venues' plans had felt more like an afterthought, while Melhorn offers an entirely separate building that can be used for the ceremony in inclement weather. It was such a huge relief to feel like we didn't have to worry about adjusting every detail on the fly, and to go into our rainy wedding day knowing that, regardless of the weather, it would be just as beautiful and special as we always imagined. We had and continue to have SO many of our guests, both on the wedding night and afterwards, tell us that this was the best wedding they have ever been to. So many glowing comments about the beautiful venue, the fun had on the dance floor, the amazing and kind staff, and all of the countless details that go into making the day memorable. We couldn't agree more that Melhorn Manor was the perfect backdrop for our special day, and we have the incredible team to thank for all the hard work, attention to detail, and love that went into making this the wedding of our dreams. “Gianna Paredes was my contact and she was excellent. Kept me on time, researched answers to my questions, provided calm supportive guidance and, most importantly (for me), responded to everything with quick accuracy. She was present the day of the wedding and helped coordinate all aspects. The BEST! Overall, the location is beautiful with lovely garden spaces. Contacts were provided for those outsourced components—florist (who matched bride’s color choices exactly) and a photographer for a very short notice wedding.”

“Historic Ashland was quite literally a dream! Every inch of this venue is thoughtfully curated and well-maintained throughout any season of the year. All of our photos turned out incredible with so many beautiful backdrops throughout the property just waiting to be photographed. When choosing a wedding venue we had many different wants on our list and Historic Ashland fit them all: separate bridal and groomsmen getting ready areas, barn space for reception, outdoor ceremony, and more. However what we really focused on as our 2 non-negotiables: great photo opportunities and a good backup plan for if it rained. With so many options for ceremony locations on site, we were covered for our dream outdoor wedding and a gorgeous indoor one too, if it came to that. Some added bonuses along the way that we did not expect: how easy the team made it to execute our dream and leave no stone unturned during the wedding planning process. Throughout the year as I was planning decor and my vision for the day, it was incredibly helpful that the team was so active on social media. I got to see so many different examples of what past couples had done to customize the space for their wedding. It made it that much easier to narrow down my options and truly envision how it would look. Something I would have never known I needed was the built-in day of coordinator every Ashland couple gets for their wedding. We had the wonderful Amanda as our DOC and I was blown away by how she was able to set up all of our decor exactly how I wanted it. And then furthermore, when it came to packing up at the end of the night, it was done so quickly, with nothing left behind. Not to mention, the entire day went so smoothly, and I felt confident in what we were doing every step of the way. I really can't recommend this venue enough. 10/10”
