“I got married here last weekend, and I’m still emotionally recovering in the best way. The team at Luray Caverns (Stephanie Beahm, Naomi Alger, and Katherine Dallas) somehow managed to keep everything running smoothly while I was one minor inconvenience away from spiraling into full goblin mode.
From the start, they made us feel genuinely special (not the fake “you’re special” everyone gets but like, actually special). They helped us move our things in early, communicated every step of the way, and answered my numerous questions without ever making me feel like I was testing their will to live. Which, frankly, is impressive.
When our car keys mysteriously vanished (because of course they did), the team literally drove us to the reception without hesitation. They got a wheelchair for an elderly grandparent of the groom, handled logistics like pros, and never once made us feel like a burden. Even though I would have absolutely understood if they had gently escorted me into the woods at some point like old yeller to put me out of my misery. When I expressed disappointment of the rain and the change to our rain plan, they reassured me and also complimented me on the day and asked what they could do to help even though, trust me, they had helped enough!
They also helped decorate, set up, and even supported my day-of coordinator to make her job easier. Basically, they were everywhere, doing everything, all at once: like a calm, hyper-competent wedding Avengers team.
What really stood out was how much they cared about the tiny details. They remembered things I forgot I even mentioned and executed everything flawlessly. Naomi, in particular, went above and beyond. She was literally getting married the weekend after us and still treated our wedding like it was the only one that mattered. I don’t even have that level of commitment to my own life. Stephanie had a similar accent to mine and was hilarious and definitely kept me laughing when I wanted to cry. Katherine was level headed and reassuring and kept me calm. They all worked so beautifully together for us.
I haven’t stopped bragging about them. Guests are still telling us how incredible everything was, and a huge part of that is thanks to this team. They made us feel treasured, unique, and completely taken care of and that is something that is shockingly rare in this business.
If you’re even thinking about getting married here, just do it. Seriously. Save yourself the stress, the second-guessing, and the potential descent into madness. This team is the best of the best, and they gave us more than we ever expected from a venue or honestly even what we thought was possible.”
