It was a great pleasure to work with Jackie throughout our wedding planning process. Not being from the area, Jackie was invaluable in recommending and coordinating with great local vendors. She was so helpful coordinating each piece of our wedding weekend remotely - she struck a great balance as a calming presence throughout planning yet eager to go to bat for us when things needed to get done yesterday. On the wedding weekend, Jackie was so dedicated to make it a success for us. Beyond being a great presence and executing our schedule the entire weekend, she took on arranging and setup of the flowers and decorations, running setup and tear down of the venue as we danced, even volunteering to bake hundreds of pastries for our brunch the next morning. She truly went beyond our expectations of a coordinator and I'd happily recommend her to anyone getting married in the Shenandoah area.

We hired Jackie just a few months before my daughter's wedding and she stepped up and took care of so much. She was easy to communicate with, she helped us save money by offering chargers at a cheaper price than our caterer and generally made us feel at ease. She took my daughter's wedding and reception vision and brought it to life with minimal input needed. She is also a fabulous cook and helped me with brunch food for the day after the wedding with only 2 days notice. Thank you Jackie!!

We planned a 5 event (rehearsal dinner, welcome event, wedding, after party, brunch) wedding remotely- and Jackie was the reason it was so successful. She seemed to have a connection to everyone, even having planned the wedding of our wedding venue owners. She gave us endless recommendations for hair and makeup, caterers, DJs, and other items. She provided some of her own decor which made my life easier, and broke down the wedding effortlessly while we danced the night away. She was timely, and knew my vision, and managed all other vendors seamlessly. I was on the fence about hiring a wedding coordinator at all, but she was worth every penny. Jackie also cares about saving money, and will creatively repurpose florals for your venue, make suggestions candidly about what guests will and won't care about (programs, certain favors etc), and generally feels like you're her direct clients. She also stepped in when our florals came up short due to a miscommunication and handled making sure the flowers were ready and beautiful. Jackie arranged our beautiful florals and saved us a ton of money. She also made the delicious breakfast items for our brunch the following day. She did countless venue visits for both our outdoor rehearsal dinner/welcome party and our venue. I am sure there are so many things that I didn't see, but what I know is on my wedding day, I was able to be present, and a participant in my wedding, instead of a project manager. I am so grateful to Jackie and so glad I hired her for my Luray wedding!

Working with Heartfelt Events was absolutely amazing! At first, I was worried about having someone else bring my vision to life, but Jackie did a phenomenal job of putting everything together on the day of my wedding. From the decor, keeping us on schedule, to having answers to my questions before I even knew the questions to ask. I couldn't recommend someone better to be there with you on your special day!
