The Boathouse Shelter Island is a private event space located on Shelter Island at the Island Boatyard and Marina. The historic building, dating back to the 1920's, was originally used as boat storage. Today, it debuts a new look with versatility for any stylish event. Grammy award winning musician and East End resident Billy Joel recorded his album, River of Dreams, at The Boathouse in 1993.
