“Wedding was 1/9/2020 . Our officiant didn't add our ring exchange to our ceremony. (We had a buddist ceremony); The chaos of a strict photography schedule kept my husband and I busy. But I was so upset that moment was not going to be in photos. Dom somehow knew I needed that moment to complete. He snuck it in before our cake cutting and I was overjoyed to have him officiate that for us. He was spot on with the playlist and songs matching to our chosen genre. He did more than we asked for even when our venue coordinator dropped the ball on us with not posting seating charts. Literally everyone at our wedding was on their feet for dancing and loved all the music DJ Trey played! “1000/10!! Lucky Devils gave us absolutely the best wedding experience possible. All communication and planning calls were extremely professional, prompt, and easy. We had a prescriptive plan on our music taste and preferences, which Lucky Devils was happy to accommodate, but they also gave guidance based on their expertise, which we so appreciated. We put playlists together because we wanted certain songs playing, but by the time the band came on (we just gave them general guidance beforehand, nothing too prescriptive), their set list was exactly what we were looking for and they completely set the vibe and energy of the party with little direction. We hired them for our ceremony music, which they were able to do with the live guitarist as well as use a speaker for walk down the aisle songs. Everything went seamlessly and exactly how we imagined, but somehow even better. Working with Lucky Devils was an amazing experience from end. They were also very positive and lively on-site, which made us and the guests have so much fun. We have a family band and Lucky Devils even let them play a live song, which will always be one of our favorite memories from our wedding day. Lucky Devils is a one stop shop and can help you with anything, as they have such range- you can hire for your ceremony AND reception (even if in different locations) as an emcee, DJ, live band, etc. and that's exactly what we needed. They have tons of clients at one time but somehow made us feel so special and like we were their only client. Music is so important to us, and honestly I have been putting together a playlist for years, so we were looking for the best group possible to host the experience we were looking for. Lucky Devils was exactly it and it was so amazing to see this music come to life. They brought so much energy, fun, and connection to our guests, we still talk about it! We were honestly so blown away at how amazing the music was throughout the night. Would 100% recommend and do all over again if we had the choice. “Before choosing Makai, my partner and I watched videos of at least a dozen DJs. Based on the energy and interactions we saw from Makai, we knew he was the one for us and our wedding day. From our first video call with him, we knew we had struck gold. What was meant to be a one hour zoom call turned into three hours of laughing and sharing stories as if we were old friends who had been separated by time. Makai was patient at every step in our process. He came prepared - he provided us a very helpful packet which enabled us to better organize our event. My partner and I did have many of our own ideas, and Makai graciously worked with every single idea of ours. When our ideas were incomplete or needed tweaking, he came up with creative solutions that incorporated our wants and his experience. After getting off our zoom call with Makai, my partner and I shared a big sigh of relief. In months of planning, most things had been stressful, but working with Makai felt almost too easy. We were very well taken care of. On the day of our event, Makai was early. Makai generously helped with things that were not at all his responsibility. Makai was loved by our guest; he contributed to a great vibe. At our request, Makai helped us stay on track for the whole event, and because of that, everything continued smoothly throughout the evening. Every time I looked at Makai, he had a beaming smile on his face. Even while continuing to enjoy the festivities, Makai’s music was on point. Amongst a handful of other vendors who were also awesome, Makai stands out because his contributions to our day were so impactful. I can’t recommend Makai enough.”

It was important to me to not only have a talented DJ for our wedding but also one who was classy, matched the vibe, and kept everyone engaged and partying! Ace gave amazing suggestions for song choices, he helped us with timing our first dance, he read the room incredibly well, and also showed up very well dressed and clean cut. This was very important to us!!! I am not exaggerating when I say probably 30 different people from our wedding made a point to tell us we had the best wedding DJ ever. He did an amazing job of combining the hispanic culture and Spanish speakers from my husband’s side and upbeat pop beats from my side. There was not a single dull moment on the dance floor and I spent half of my wedding getting to dance and drink with my support system. He made it a dream come true. Not to mention the lights made it feel sooooo bougie too!!! He also does a flawless ceremony and dinner service. Killed the entire ceremony from the moment he got there till the moment he left!
