“Okay, seriously, if you're planning an event and thinking about a band/dj hybrid, you have to look into Golden Bell Music. Our wedding on June 27, 2025, at Viansa Winery in Sonoma, CA, was everything we dreamed of and so much more, and honestly, a huge part of that credit goes directly to them. We spent 11 months planning every detail, and booking Golden Bell Music as one of our very first vendors was hands-down the best decision we made. The band/DJ hybrid concept? Pure genius! It absolutely delivers the best of both worlds, and they pulled it off flawlessly. But really, the biggest shout-out – and the core of this whole review – belongs to the phenomenal Marlon Aldana, our DJ and drummer. We first spotted him in action on Golden Bell's Instagram, and it was an instant "that's our guy!" moment. You can imagine our excitement when we found out he was available for our date! Working with Marlon from the very beginning was just an absolute pleasure. He wasn't just playing music; he was genuinely feeling the room, intuitively knowing when to let a song build or transition to keep the energy up. All of our "must-plays" were there, the do not-play was respected, and the dance floor never once emptied And talk about flexibility! We had a last-minute idea to add an extra instrument, and the Golden Bell team didn't blink. They jumped right in, helping us find the perfect addition without any issues. Plus, we had a separate violinist for our ceremony, and it was so impressive to see how effortlessly all the vendors collaborated. No drama, just smooth, professional teamwork, which really speaks volumes about Golden Bell's commitment to making your day seamless. Now, for the ultimate highlight: our after-party! We decided to do something a little different and host it in a wine cellar, and Marlon and his team elevated it beyond anything we could have imagined. When they brought in a fog machine, the entire atmosphere transformed. It wasn't just a party; it was an experience! That fog machine honestly MADE the party, turning the space into something truly epic. I genuinely can't picture it having the same incredible energy without it, so a massive thank you for that unexpected, perfect touch. And because we had a masquerade theme, I asked if the DJs would wear disco masks and they SAID YES and wore them the entire time, even after I told them they absolutely didn't have to for more than one song! It just created such an amazing vibe, and we've got the pictures to prove how much fun everyone had! There's just so much to appreciate about this incredible group. We ended up with a great balance of great cost and services that met our needs. Rob was equally great during the contracting process since we wanted a few updates to their standard contract. Rob then lined up Kev the DJ and Kev was fantastic! We had a couple of meetings to work out the music we wanted Kev to play, and he provided really good suggestions on how best to organize the music. On the day of the wedding Kev joined us at our hotel before the wedding for a quick rehearsal of the ceremony. At the wedding Kev brought incredible energy as the MC and kept the music flowing perfectly as the DJ. Kev was so great sometimes I was hanging out with him. Suffice it to say that we highly recommend Second Song as your first choice to DJ your wedding or another event!”

“Seth was the best wedding DJ that we could have hoped for! We first met Seth at a wedding vendor expo event at our reception venue and were immediately impressed by the quality of his sound system and his ability to mix the selected soundtrack live. Seth is very communicative. In our first meeting with Seth, it was already immediately apparent that he was very experienced and very passionate about making our wedding day special and everything that we wanted it to be. We felt very comfortable that he knew what he was doing, and on the day of the wedding he executed flawlessly. As for the preparation work, Seth schedules multiple meetings with you leading up to your wedding day which eases a lot of the nerves heading into busy planning season. Seth also has an app that you can download on your phone which is awesome because it allows you to edit details of your wedding day timeline and playlist on-the-go as we were making decisions during the planning months. On the day of the wedding, Seth came prepared having downloaded all the music that we talked about ahead of time and he kept the dance floor alive ALL NIGHT (over 3 hours). Seth responded to the audience and was able to mix a variety of genres that we had requested (like country, pop, spanish music, musical songs, etc) over various sets across the evening. He also coordinated our photo booth which was a nice touch that all the guests really enjoyed and had a second person stationed there for help all night. We couldn't recommend Seth enough to other couples who are in need of a DJ! Thank you, Seth!”

“From the months leading up to the actual wedding and on the day of the wedding, Edgardo was incredibly sweet and accommodating throughout the whole process. He went out of his way to make sure that the violinist that I hired had everything that she needed to be able to perform. Even though we hadn't included the additional setup in the original quote, he gave it to us as a wedding gift. He was on top of all of the songs. Not once did I turn around and feel like he had left his station. He was managing the photo booth phenomenally while also providing every song that we had requested on time and with an enthusiastic behavior. He kept the crowd excited. He knew the right times to change the music and he was absolutely hysterical by joking around with our guests and even being playful when introducing key songs. He really cares about his work and the service he provides. He goes above and beyond to make you feel special and taken care of and is someone I would hire for any event that I throw in the future. I had a phenomenal time working with him. I will say don't be stressed if he doesn't respond to your text messages. He is definitely somebody that will answer a phone call more often than a text. But nevertheless, he shows up and provides incredible service with a smile and I couldn't have asked for our event to go any better. He really really did a great job. “DJ Keelez was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in San Diego. We found her on Reddit and are so happy we did! She was professional, easy to work with, and completely on top of every detail. My husband worked with her on the audio setup for our musician, song choices, microphones, and all of the logistics leading up to the day. During the ceremony, there was not one audio blip or mess-up — everything sounded perfect. The reception was SO much fun. There was not an empty moment on the dance floor, and the music made it feel like we were at a club in the best way. Everything was professional, fun, and seamless. She was also incredibly flexible.
