As an events Specialist I work with a variety of Venues. This Venue and staff are by far some of the best people to work with. They are knowledgeable and make themselves accessible in every aspect of an event. Clients are well informed and and kept in constant contact with their assigned venue manager for updates and deadlines. As a Vendor this makes things easier and helps us work more efficiently. The staff is so amazing day of events and always eager to help. I can’t say enough about how amazing this venue is, as well as it’s sister venues The Mitch and The Clybourn. The staff was so caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. Their communication was excellent throughout the entire process; every question we had was answered quickly and thoughtfully, which made planning so much less stressful. On our wedding day, they took care of every detail so we were truly able to relax and enjoy every moment. The food was absolutely amazing, and even went out of their way to make my husband’s favorite dish per our request, even though it wasn’t on the menu. They always made sure our requests came first, which made us feel so valued and cared for. The Valerie Event Venue

We are thrilled to unveil The Valerie, a sophisticated event and wedding venue located in the heart of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. With its timeless elegance and versatile layout, The Valerie sets the stage for extraordinary weddings, events and celebrations among venues in our area.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Offers a sense of luxury

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No free parking
  • Not for you if you are drawn to more unconventional venues
If there was an option to give more than 5 stars, The Valerie deserves it! I don't even know where to start - everything was even more perfect than we could have imagined. Picking a venue is a very tough, but important decision. I found myself googling The Valerie daily before finally biting the bullet on a venue that wasn't even built yet - but boy am I glad I did!!! This place is absolutely STUNNING. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted a classy and elegant vibe for my wedding and The Valerie matches that perfectly. From the gorgeous bridal suite, to the large light wall, the sparkly chandeliers, the aesthetic bars, the names of all the spaces, and the employees. Matty is such a joy to work with! From the initial conversation to the very last, he made sure that everything was perfect. He was extremely prompt in his responses via email, text, and call. Anything I needed, he was there to find the answer for me. He is AMAZING at what he does and we are so thankful! My ONE request was an espresso martini tower—and the second I said it, Matty didn’t hesitate. He just said, ‘Let’s do it!’ and made it happen. Jen was the MVP! We met Jen at our 90 day check in and immediately clicked and she offered to be our Wedding Coordinator from that point on - BEST DECISION EVER! She made everything go so smoothly, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Jen was also available at any time of the day to answer and questions or even offer suggestions! Half the time, I didn’t even know what I wanted—but Jen somehow took my scattered thoughts and turned them into something more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. I saw so many mixed opinions about hiring a wedding coordinator—so many people said we could just 'do it ourselves.' But looking back, I know without a doubt that our wedding was everything we dreamed of because of her! Mike, Jordan, and Madeline were the bartenders working the night of our wedding and they played one of the biggest roles of the night! All of our guests were raving about Mike's Brandy Old Fashions :) The three of them made sure all of the guests were taken care of in a timely manner and we are so appreciative of their service! For all the future brides out there - this is the BEST place to have the wedding of your dreams :)

We absolutely LOVE working with Culinary infusion, and working at Circa on Seventh! The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Meticulously designed, with the most tasteful touches. The chandeliers, brick wall, and Bridal Suite will blow you away. You cannot find an ugly spot in the entire place. Always ultra clean and well taken care of. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, and willing to go out of their way to make sure your day is perfect. It's a cliche, but they really do treat you like family. We have been to quite a few other venues, and no one takes care of their clients as well as the staff at Circa on Seventh. They have a way of taking away all the stress, and making sure the day goes exactly as the clients have planned. And now my favorite topic to talk about: The FOOD! Absolutely delicious! Most people think of "wedding food". This is NOT wedding food, this is delicious fine dining, but at a wedding. The food is always incredibly delicious, and extremely appetizing to look at. I always joke that if they ever opened a restaurant, I would be there three times a week. its THAT good! You cannot go wrong with booking Circa on Seventh!

At one time the building hosted a long list of events including basketball games, weddings, movies, plays, and even a rifle range in the basement. After being restored we are now again hosting events with a primary focus on weddings and receptions. We hope that you will allow us to host your Event in our beautiful historic building in downtown waterloo.

We came across this venue and from the moment we walked in the doors we were in awe. From the old ticket booth to the beautiful wood bar, the stage and the stunning chandelier you can see from the outside, it is so very special. Everyone including our vendors couldn’t stop talking about how great the venue was. The owners were also great to work with and could tell they loved their venue and it’s rich history. The Riviera Ballroom was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was responsive, timely, and very well-managed. The space itself was absolutely beautiful - stately and elegant, providing the perfect setting for our intimate ceremony and dinner. Our guests raved about the intimate ceremony space and the lovely dinner area, which allowed for great conversation throughout the evening. As the bride, I wish there had been a private space for me to get ready and wait before the ceremony, as the guests were able to see me beforehand. Additionally, some of our guests mentioned that parking was a bit tricky. Overall though, the Riviera Ballroom exceeded our expectations and made our special day truly memorable.

My husband and I got married at Western Lakes Golf Club 5/4/24 and it was incredible. Food was amazing, staff were very friendly. The only downside for why I took off a star was because of the day of coordinator provided with the venue. She was great leading up to the day of the wedding but on the wedding day I saw her twice and then never saw her again. She never introduced herself to my husband, never made sure we were lining up for the ceremony or anything. Never checked in on us. I’m the one that noticed we should be getting lined up which should have been the coordinator doing it. But overall, it was a great experience.

The Box

Milwaukee, WI

The Box is a wedding venue with a modern and industrial feel based in Milwaukee, WI. Its blank-canvas aesthetic makes this an ideal space for couples who want to bring their own sense of style to their wedding celebrations. This urban, adaptable space is full of raw charm, and the design possibilities are endless. The venue can accommodate both ceremonies and receptions. Located in downtown Milwaukee and featuring an abundance of Cream City brick, The Box feels like pure Milwaukee. The open-concept floor plan, large windows, polished wood floors, and soaring ceilings create a beautiful blank canvas that to-be-weds can tailor to any vision. Whatever your taste, the building’s neutral palette will allow you and your partner to fill the space with your personality. The Box runs its own bar service, and couples can work with the venue to customize a package that meets their needs. This contemporary, industrial space provides a beautiful backdrop for one-of-a-kind celebrations.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides catering services
  • Has onsite accommodations
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site

Venue considerations

  • Does not allow pets
  • No on-site bridal suite
  • Not wheelchair accessible
Where do I begin?! We had our ceremony at the Doubletree Hilton and wanted a space for our reception close to the hotel, but without spending an arm and a leg. We booked The Box for our wedding reception in June and everything went perfectly. We were looking for a venue that was affordable and not over priced, no food/beverage minimum, minimal setup, timeless and beautiful, and that could accommodate our guest list of 75. The Box checked alllll of these boxes. I love that we were able to arrange the space how we envisioned and choose our own caterer (we used BelAir Cantina). Jamie worked with us to select a bar package that was extremely reasonable and fit our budget. We felt zero pressure during our meetings and Jamie assured me her team would make sure the space looked lovely, and she was right! We saved money on decor by using The Box’s candles and some lamps they provide, and we brought bud vases with flowers in for table decor. They had all the tables set and ready to go for my personal assistants to set up the little details (bud vases, signage, card box, etc). Both Jamie and Jaime were a delight to work with and made sure we felt comfortable and happy. They were both very responsive and answered all of my questions. I felt like they truly cared about helping to make our wedding day successful and that meant so much to us. There seemed to be plenty of street parking and I know a few guests utilized the parking garage kitty corner across the street with no issues. 10/10 would recommend The Box for a wedding reception or any event for that matter. This space has so much potential and they can help bring your vision to life. I am so happy we chose The Box to celebrate our marriage with our favorite people!! Also downtown Milwaukee and the riverwalk are within walking distance and are PERFECT for photos, even in the rain.

  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $3,000

A completely renovated barn venue half way between Milwaukee and Madison with all of today's modern amenities. A comfortable setting with heating & AC throughout the entire facility, the barn can accommodate up to 275 guests with ADA restrooms, an expansive loft overlooking the main hall, bridal quarters, stunning views of the countryside and full service bar. In-house wedding planning and photography services along with an array of fun add on's, including string lighting are also available making Rustic Manor 1848 your one stop wedding location!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Flexible event spaces
  • Space for a large guest list
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you're looking for a sleek and contemporary space
  • Requires outside catering services
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
Rustic Manor was a lovely wedding venue. Our guests loved the spacious grounds, easy parking, large bathrooms, and classy rustic interior. We loved the large bridal and groomsmen suites, the payment process, the venue setting up chairs for ceremony and reception, and the professionalism of staff throughout the planning process. We did not love how expensive it was for the add ons. For a Saturday wedding in “wedding season” we paid almost 10k just for the venue and venue-specific add ons. This included string lights, nice tables, water service at dinner, use of the Photo Booth, etc. The Photo Booth did not include a guest book to put the extra slides (which we had seen at another wedding at this venue), which we didn’t realize until the night of when it was too late. The bar bill (180 guests) was about 6k. Their preferred dinner vendors were expensive and didn’t have many vegetarian options. The least expensive “preferred food vendor” was 20k for 180 guests. We *really* didn’t love that they didn’t have any signs at the bar. We were expected to purchase signs and write out the drink list, hours, and rules of the bar. Our guests did not love that there wasn’t a bartender on scene to get even water or soda prior to the ceremony. During planning, they encouraged stopping open bar during dinner, so our guests had nothing to drink for the toasts. They did not have a sound system going outside, so half of our guests were outdoors and missed all of the announcements. Our wedding was beautiful, but for a venue that “prefers” an event costing 50k, we expected more.

Edison Hall was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was prompt and they were incredibly flexible in helping us bring our vision to life. The space is absolutely beautiful, with amazing natural light and a clean, flexible layout that allowed us to customize it to our needs. Our guests were so impressed by the gorgeous waterfront location and the open, airy feel of the venue. Jessica and Mikayla were a joy to work with - they were always available to answer our questions, did multiple walkthroughs with us, and came up with creative ideas to make our wedding day truly special. The food and signature drinks were amazing, and we loved being able to choose from their selection of chairs, linens, and table layouts. The venue also has so many great photo opportunities, both inside and out, and it was so convenient being located right in downtown Port Washington, close to hotels, coffee shops, and the lakefront. When my (now) husband and I got engaged, soon the reality set in that I was now to become a full time wedding planner. The checklists started getting made with the first one on the list being “find a venue”. We knew we wanted an elegant, upscale, timeless wedding. The first thing that came to mind was an outdoor country club wedding. After touring a few, we realized this was not what we wanted due to unpredictable weather, inconvenience for out of town guests, and rustic vibes we were not trying to go for. Family recommended The Concourse so I reached out to Kylie. During our first tour we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The elegant experience that The Concourse provides is unmatched. (My favorite part being the neutral carpet, no one wants bright red or blue carpet in your wedding pictures.) During one of the most stressful times, stressing about weather and rain is something you can easily take off your plate by being indoors. This venue is perfect to have everything in one place from the rehearsal, to the ceremony, to the reception. Kylie is not only helpful, but goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. She is there every step of the way in the months and days leading up to the big day to make sure your vision becomes a reality. Everything from the set up, to the timing, to helping day-of making sure everything goes according to plan was more than what was even expected. People ask how our wedding went and all we can say is “perfect”. We are so grateful to everyone on The Concourse team, especially to Kylie. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
I recently attended a wedding at Dresden Castle for a close friend, and having been looped into much of the planning, I can confidently say the venue and its team exceeded expectations. The space itself is breathtaking—historic architecture, stained glass, and vaulted ceilings that give the entire event a sense of timeless elegance. It’s rare to find a venue that feels both grand and intimate, but Dresden Castle strikes that balance beautifully. The garden area was especially memorable for photos and quiet moments between the ceremony and reception. From what I observed and heard throughout the planning process, Jason and Alex were outstanding partners. They were responsive, organized, and genuinely invested in making the day seamless. Their flexibility with vendors, clear communication, and calm presence during setup made a huge difference. They anticipated needs before they became issues and handled last-minute adjustments with grace. The amenities were modern and well-maintained—sound system, WiFi, private rooms for the wedding party, and a layout that flowed naturally from ceremony to celebration. The staff were professional and courteous, and the bartenders kept everything moving smoothly without ever feeling rushed. As a guest, I was impressed. As someone who saw the behind-the-scenes effort, I was even more so. Dresden Castle is a gem for couples who want a venue that’s visually stunning, logistically sound, and run by people who truly care.
