He spent time talking with us during the planning process to get an understanding of what music we wanted to hear and we really appreciated that! He made sure to play songs from our lists and also found similar artists that matched the vibe to play as well! He truly catered for every age group and person at our wedding (this was especially important to us because our guests came from two different cultural groups and we wanted to make sure everyone felt included and comfortable. Every single person was on the dance floor and excited to dance the night away and couldn't stop raving about how awesome the DJ was)! The entire night was truly a party and such a blast! Not only did he help us with the music for the ceremony and reception, he also helped communicate with the other vendors and guests and just overall made the day go by so smoothly! Doug talked with us several times throughout our planning process to help us think through the reception - specifically the flow and the feeling of each moment. At our final detail meeting, Doug and Andrew helped us finalize and ramp up some ideas we had been working on (rating speeches using giant numbers that the bridal party held up, us-themed bar trivia during dinner, kiss cam instead of traditional glass-clinking kisses) and also gave us options to add on his Freedom Sticks (party lighting to help make the room/dance floor fun) and several Polaroid cameras and a book to store the pictures in. We took advantage of both and were so happy we did! On the day of the event, Doug took the role of MC and walking around the room to get pictures of people/get everyone involved and Andrew took on the role of primary DJ.
