As soon as we arrived, we were so glad that we had chosen Milton Ridge and knew that we had made the right choice. All of the staff were very welcoming and helpful. They were with us through every step of our wedding day with lots of support and smiles. The cottage for getting ready is very cute, the chapel is beautiful, and the reception hall is great as well. They have many services included in their various wedding packages like catering, DJ, photographer, and cake. They also have outside vendors that they work with frequently, such as hair and make-up and a florist, who are all wonderful. They are inclusive, and they are supportive of LGBT weddings. My now wife and I are part of the LGBT community, and we were treated very well by the entire team. We were able to have our wedding exactly how we wanted, and they worked with us on every detail. On the day, they had the entire day scheduled and kept us on track, which is actually so necessary and helpful on a day when you're trying to do so many things. My husband and I had our Christmas-themed wedding at the Eden on December 10th of 2021, and I can’t sing the praises of the wedding coordinators, concierges, catering and janitorial staff enough. From start to finish we felt genuinely cared for by everyone in the resort...and I know how often they host weddings, but each and every person on the Eden team accommodated us in such a joyful way; as if we were the only wedding in the building. And it felt like they were sincerely happy for us. Which made the day feel really, really special. Madeline and Felicia, our wedding/day-of coordinators, attended to every last detail of the day, making sure that absolutely nothing was missed. They were present, intentional, flexible, and at times even borderline protective of me and my family. And that’s anything a bride could ever ask for. I couldn’t be more grateful. As far as the planning process goes: as a project manager, I very much appreciated the explicit, direct nature of their policies and procedures. After offering me several tours of the venue (MOB was from out of town and MOG wanted to see it on separate occasions) and answering all of my many many questions via phone and email, we had several formal meetings to comb through all the details and make sure we were on the same page. Maddie was able to help me delegate and manage my expectations, especially when it came to who was responsible for what, and even then bent over backwards to help me and my bridal party with day-of tasks. Thanks again to everyone on The Eden Resort & Suites staff. You were such a crucial part of our big day and we appreciate your hard work!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience at The Inn at Leola Village! From start to finish, everything was seamless, and our wedding weekend was more magical than we could have imagined. Stephanie, our day-of coordinator, was an absolute dream to work with. She was incredibly responsive throughout the planning process, so flexible, and went above and beyond to accommodate every request we had. On the day of, she kept everything running smoothly and allowed us to truly enjoy every moment without stress. The venue itself is stunning. Our guests are still raving about the beautiful floral arrangements and how gorgeous the entire property was. One of the biggest highlights for us was being able to host our entire wedding weekend in one place — rehearsal dinner, welcome party, ceremony, reception, and brunch. Having on-site accommodations was such a huge bonus for us and our guests, and it made the entire weekend feel so relaxed and cohesive. The food was also out of this world. From the hors d’oeuvres to the entrees, every dish was fantastic. And the cake — made on-site at their bakery — was absolutely delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how incredible the food was, which made us so happy. We also loved using their salon and spa for hair and makeup on the wedding day. They are thorough, kind and truly put the needs and desires of the couple above all. To add, we rented out the entire B&B and our guests truly loved their experience at both the wedding and as a B&B guest. While barn weddings aren't for everyone, I highly encourage DIYers and those looking for a special place with character to partner with the Hertzog family and let them help make your dreams a reality!

From the moment we booked with them, Beth was in constant contact with us to make sure all of the details of our day were achieved. The chef made delicious food that all of our guests raved about. The lodging onsite was also convenient, it provided the guests easy access to the venue and the groom was able to get ready with his groomsmen in their own lodge. The backdrop for the ceremony was gorgeous, and the reception hall was perfectly laid out for all of the events. Even when our schedule got thrown off track, Beth and her staff were able to adjust to relieve our stress and keep guests happy. All in all, we could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.

She guided us through everything - from recommending fantastic local vendors (special shout-out to Brothers Pizza for the rehearsal dinner, Mr. Garcia knows his stuff), to patiently answering all our questions and providing thoughtful advice on staging the reception. Her reassurance was much appreciated, especially since this was the first wedding for both sets of parents! We booked the venue from Friday to Sunday, and having the entire wedding party stay onsite made the whole weekend feel cozy and relaxed. We had full use of the kitchen for the rehearsal dinner, which made everything convenient and stress-free. The reception space is stunning - chandeliers hanging from the rafters give it a rustic elegance that requires minimal decorating. There is a European countryside charm that the couple immediately fell in love with. Throughout the venue, you’ll find Marijke’s artwork, which adds a personal and artistic touch to the space. She’s an incredibly talented artist, and her work gives the venue unique warmth and personality. The venue truly speaks for itself.
