Thirty-One Petal

5.0

  • Starts at $2,500
  • Serves Westlake Village, CA

Meet Taylor, Jesus lover, proud mama, business owner, floral designer Taylor is a Southern California Native specializing in organic floral design. Taylors journey to floral design was not intentional. While suffering through a season of difficulty regarding her health, she found that what brought her the most peace + comfort was being outside and playing with flowers in her driveway. Making arrangements out of anything she could find. It wasnt long after that God stepped in and provided her with opportunities to pursue what is now known as Thirty- One Petal.

Working with Thirty-One Petal for our wedding was such a joy! From the start, they were super professional and really responsive. You could tell they paid attention to every little detail, and the quality of their work was just fantastic. They even took behind-the-scenes photos during the ceremony and she even off the red to jump in to create extra bouquets on the spot when we realized we had taken them out of the contract. She's amazing—honestly, we couldn’t be happier with the beautiful flowers they made for our special day!

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.9

  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Westlake Village, CA

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

Awarded Best of Zola
We loved using Something Borrowed Blooms for our wedding flowers. We used them for my bridal bouquet, bridesmaid bouquets, and extra flower bunches to decorate around our venue, and everything turned out beautifully. I even purchased my bridal bouquet so I could display it forever, and it still looks just as stunning. Everyone kept commenting on how realistic and well put together the flowers looked, even more so than some real flower arrangements we’ve seen. It was such a relief not to have to worry about keeping anything in water or paying the high price of fresh florals. The flowers arrived at our venue a few days early, and the return process afterward was incredibly easy. I would recommend Something Borrowed Blooms to any bride who wants a beautiful, stress-free floral option!

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

The BEST most nerve wracking decision we made for our big day!!! I was so nervous to go this route but trusted my gut and I’m so glad I did. FM was incredible at walking me through the process and the full service package is worth WAY more than what you pay for it. I felt incredibly prepared for flower arrival from all the phone calls, videos, and paperwork they sent including detailed recipes and schedule for the week. We had some hiccups with Hurricanes and delayed shipping. They called me to initially tell me they would be a day early. Then when they didn’t arrive called again and explained they’d been held up in customs(obviously no ones fault). They then sent out an entire extra box of blooms to be sure we got everything we needed. Flowers were beautiful!!! Spending time with my sisters and family putting them together was truly the most fun wedding prep. My guests and coordinator truly couldn’t believe we had done all our own flowers, and the best part??! We saved ourselves literally thousands!! We would recommend FM to anyone for any occasion anytime.

Awarded Best of Zola
Michelle was such a delight to work with, and the entire Something’s Blooming team really went above and beyond to make our wedding day so special. Creating the vision for our wedding florals with Michelle was so much fun because she took all our wacky ideas and ran with them, and we really appreciate how many personal details she incorporated into her designs. I knew that I wanted animal skulls included in the centerpieces and my bouquet, and upon hearing this Michelle didn’t even bat an eye! We also heard many people raving about the pocket square boutonnières our groomsmen wore- they were absolutely stunning, and the groomsmen appreciated that they were much easier to put on/manage than traditional boutonnières. In addition to creating the most beautiful floral designs we ever could’ve imagined, we heard from many family members and members of the wedding party that Michelle and her team were incredibly personable and that they enjoyed talking to them while receiving their boutonnières, corsages, etc. After communicating with Michelle for several months leading up to the wedding, we of course knew this would be the case! We cannot recommend Something’s Blooming enough, not only for the outstanding floral designs but also for the warm and welcoming atmosphere the team brings to every wedding.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Gabby at Mi Florecita Flower Shop is absolutely amazing!!!!!!! I recently used her to make florals for my wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception (I had a 150 guest count). She was a delight to work with from start to finish. From the first day I met her at her shop, I could tell that she had style and could capture my vision for the wedding. In working with her, her communication was clear and easy, and she responded quickly to my texts and emails, putting me at ease throughout the planning process. She took the time to understand what I wanted (for the cake, centerpieces, decor pieces, bouquet, etc), even reviewing my Pinterest board, and then delivered flawlessly on the day of our wedding. I had an unexplainably good feeling from our first meeting, and I truly believe that us working together was meant to be. :) The quality of her work was exceptional - the floral arrangements she created were of the highest value, with beautiful, high-quality flowers that perfectly matched the style I had envisioned. I got so many compliments on our florals and I am so happy with the result!! She even rents candles if you need them. Gabby is undoubtedly the best, and we would recommend her to anyone planning an event, big or small. Can't wait to work with her again, she's the sweetest. Kira is an artist first and foremost. My vision was earthy/midsommar and Kira delivered. She was so great with working in my budget which is so scary when it comes to flowers. The flowers came out so beautifully. I made everything white and ivory and told her I was leaning on her for all the color and she made it happen. I cried when I saw my Chuppah for the first time. Their florals are absolutely stunning and truly elevate every setting they touch. At Morada, their arrangements provided the perfect elegant and natural backdrop, perfectly suited to the unique desert landscape. Nikki's bouquet and Ryan’s boutonniere were the stars of the day, beautifully crafted and unforgettable. They presented a gorgeous floral proposal that truly wowed the couple and worked with their overall design, vibe and budget. At Shady Canyon, Rebel Creative created a breathtaking ground arch for the ceremony, paired with jaw-dropping table arrangements and whimsical bridal bouquets. Lovelia - The Floral Touch

5.0

  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Westlake Village, CA

Hi, I’m Maria—the heart behind Lovelia, the floral touch. With over 10 years of design experience, I believe flowers are more than décor—they tell your love story. My style is elegant, romantic, and cozy, always tailored to reflect each couple’s unique vision. Based in Los Angeles, I specialize in weddings that feel personal and memorable, with thoughtful details and blooms that bring warmth to your celebration. I’d love to help you create the perfect floral touch for your big day! 🌸✨

Wow! All I can really say about working with Maria Jose at Lovelia Floral is just wow! I've known Maria Jose for years, so when I had a couple still in need of a florist she was the first person I reached out to. Let me tell you, I've always known that she is attentive and detail oriented, and really likes to make sure that her clients have the full vision, but I was still blown away by the night and day difference between her and other florists I talked to. She didn't just ask for table count, centerpiece type, and color palette like so many others, she actually took the time to understand what was important to the couple and their wedding day. This couple was getting married in Camarillo, where the brides family has lived and worked for generations. Meanwhile, the grooms family is full of botanists and park rangers. This meant that it was super important to them that the flowers be from local farmers and be in-season flowers that would be able to tolerate the hot summer day. They wanted an experience for their guests, and one main show-stopping design with the pergola, and for the other smaller details to all play back into that main piece. They wanted something that felt fun, and natural, with a hint of whimsy and some soft elegance. Lovelia came up with the PERFECT design. From wrapping the pergola in greenery, to hanging flower chains that created curtains for guests to walk through and enter the wedding, the guest experience was immediately defined by this epic piece. That same pergola served as their alter, and the backdrop of their sweetheart table, and she made sure that it effortlessly transitioned through the evening, always being picture perfect. The bud vases were perfectly balanced, adding more whimsy while staying simple and elevated, and the piece to hide the ugly BBQ that would have otherwise been in every wedding photo was a true work of art. The ceremony and reception space were one and the same, with 8 tables needing to be fully set up in just an hour, and Maria Jose and her team made sure to stay and help make sure that ever table had the perfect arrangement and every candle was lit. Start to finish, Maria Jose made sure that we were always on the same page. She gave advice and input, she steered the couple back to center when they got a bit off course, she listed to their concerns and took their priorities into account at every step. I will always always always refer every couple I can to Lovelia.

Hijinx Flowers

5.0

  • Starts at $1,500
  • Serves Westlake Village, CA

From a background in the film and television industry to currently working in the wedding industry, I've brought my love of visual style and flowers together. My favorite aspect of working on weddings is working with the couple to figure out the style that speaks to them. From sleek and modern, to romantic and lush I can make it happen.

I think flowers are the most important part of the aesthetic for any event- they quite literally bring LIFE to the experience, along with color and softness and movement. I found the perfect person for the job in Jackie and I would fully recommend her to anyone who wants their florals to be artistic and professional! Jackie nailed down the specifics of my color palette when I said I wanted “warm citrus tones.” She totally understood the loose vibe that I was looking for, and confirmed that when she sent me mood boards and specifications ahead of time. She worked within my budget, waking up early to get flowers from the LA Flower Market. She even found a way to incorporate my friends by hosting a flower garland making party! She was the vendor I didn’t have to worry about- I completely trusted she would be where she needed to be, she would understand my vision, and she would make sure things ran seamlessly. She is cool as a cucumber under pressure and her arrangements have character. I am going to use Jackie for all of my events going forward!

Black Dahlia Floral Designs

5.0

  • Serves Westlake Village, CA

Bold arrangements for bold people. Customized designs from a dark bold style all the way to classical fairytale wedding with everything in between. Specializing in weddings and high end events.

Black Dahlia Floral Designs was a dream to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was prompt, warm, and incredibly thorough. They completely matched our vision for the floral decor, and even allowed us to come onsite a year before the wedding to see what the flowers look like in season. On the day of our wedding, the team was personable and kind, helping at the end of the night to ensure all the florals were stored properly so we could preserve them. The end result was absolutely stunning - the flowers were amazing and truly elevated the entire look and feel of our special day. We received so many compliments from our friends and family saying they were some of the best florals they'd ever seen at a wedding. We couldn't recommend Black Dahlia Floral Designs more highly!
