Hijinx Flowers

From a background in the film and television industry to currently working in the wedding industry, I've brought my love of visual style and flowers together. My favorite aspect of working on weddings is working with the couple to figure out the style that speaks to them. From sleek and modern, to romantic and lush I can make it happen.

With 5 years of experience in the Los Angeles floral industry I have worked on so many different weddings, events, and projects. This has included such a variety of styles and looks. I pride myself on being able to execute the client's vision, whatever style that may be. I love the creative process and working with my clients to discover what florals will best compliment their special wedding day.

    Jackie is so incredible. I asked her to do the florals for my book release party, and since the theme was a garden party, the execution was very important. The venue we chose had a garden outside, but I wanted to create one inside as well. Jackie mocked up a plan with table pieces, floor pieces, and an arch. She nailed the color scheme by taking inspo from the book cover without me even having to suggest it. I was so impressed and so happy with the result. I sent my guests home with flowers and the arrangements I bought home lasted weeks. 10/10 experience.

    I think flowers are the most important part of the aesthetic for any event- they quite literally bring LIFE to the experience, along with color and softness and movement. I found the perfect person for the job in Jackie and I would fully recommend her to anyone who wants their florals to be artistic and professional! Jackie nailed down the specifics of my color palette when I said I wanted “warm citrus tones.” She totally understood the loose vibe that I was looking for, and confirmed that when she sent me mood boards and specifications ahead of time. She worked within my budget, waking up early to get flowers from the LA Flower Market. She even found a way to incorporate my friends by hosting a flower garland making party! She was the vendor I didn’t have to worry about- I completely trusted she would be where she needed to be, she would understand my vision, and she would make sure things ran seamlessly. She is cool as a cucumber under pressure and her arrangements have character. I am going to use Jackie for all of my events going forward!
