“Lauren is the best! Her process is so seamless which is very helpful with crazy wedding planning. We started with a small cake tasting with a few different flavors, buttercreams, and a filling. We were able to take it to-go and enjoy the cake tasting together at home! We ended up choosing vanilla cake with raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. I sent her an inspo picture of what I was going for as far as cake detailing and floral placement. My wedding cake came out just like the picture! Not only is she detail oriented but her cake is one of the best cakes I’ve ever had!! She truly is amazing and brought my dream wedding cake to life. “Cami was excellent to work woth! She communicated clearly and responded timely. She was accommodating to my schedule and made me feel comfortable planing everything from a different state. She was very helpful in planning for serving sizes and delivery and answered all questions I sent her way. We did a cake tasting and were blown away with every sample! “Valerie of Frosted Swirl was an absolute delight to work with while creating mine and Dylan’s dream sweetheart wedding cake and cupcakes! From the very beginning, she made the entire process feel exciting, easy, and so special. We started with a tasting box, and honestly… we wished we could have chosen every single flavor. Each cupcake was beautifully crafted and unbelievably delicious. We ultimately chose four flavors that perfectly complemented our November 1st wedding - Apple Cider Donut, Cannoli, Brownie Sundae, and Chocolate Raspberry. The Chocolate Raspberry was so incredible that we knew immediately it had to be our sweetheart cake flavor as well! Our cake was stunning! She guided us through tasting samples and consultation calls with so much care, always staying considerate of our needs, making customizations, and advising us exactly where necessary. While our Red Velvet cake was absolutely delicious on the inside, and she added extra cookies to the cake after our follow-up consultation. We learned a tough lesson about deep-colored frosting. Cheryl warned us about the impacts of using heavy dye to achieve a burgundy exterior (as we wanted to avoid fondant), and we should have listened! The exterior ended up with a bit of a chemical taste and stained everything it touched. Take our advice: Cheryl knows her stuff! If she makes a suggestion on color or texture, trust her expertise—you’ll be in great hands. Aside from our own misunderstanding, the service and cake quality were wonderful.”

“Amy was an absolute joy to work with! Because my husband is Peruvian American, we really wanted to have a dessert table at our reception (a Peruvian wedding tradition). We spent months trying to figure out how to make it happen without success when, miraculously, we stumbled upon Twin Treats on Zola. We reached out to Amy, who responded within hours. We were in Nashville for the weekend for wedding planning, and Amy threw together a tasting box for us with barely any notice. Every single dessert we sampled was scrumptious - it was difficult to choose only a handful for our wedding reception! For the big day, Amy went above and beyond, even learning how to make a traditional Peruvian cookie (the "alfajor") for the dessert table. She totally understood our vision for our wedding cake, too. Bermarie was so helpful in determining how much cake we needed and worked with us to make sure we fit everything we wanted into our budget. We selected delivery, and Blush Whisk made sure our cake was at the venue in the appropriate place and time despite some lack of communication from our wedding venue. They went out of their way to create a custom combo for us, and of course, the cake tasted so so good! We got so many compliments! We showed Blush Whisk photos on Pinterest of what we wanted, and they copied it exactly. We ordered a geode cake since our venue was the Perot Museum of Nature & Science, and it was so beautiful! We could not be more grateful for the services provided!! Thank you Bermarie, you're so talented, and we can't wait to stop by the shop when we're back in the DFW area!
