We offer seven distinct spaces, including a fragrant Herb Knot Garden, colorful Perennial Garden, the serene and intimate Willow Pond Island, or the summer-blooming Gateway Garden. All outdoor weddings include an indoor backup space in case of inclement weather.

Our gardens, once hay fields, now bloom with azaleas, rhododendrons, lavender, and native plants, offering a naturally stunning setting for your special day. Our newest addition, the Azalea House greenhouse, is a beautiful venue for weddings, showers, and celebrations surrounded by living history and natural beauty. Though we’ve retired our retail Garden Center, we’re more dedicated than ever to creating spaces where love stories begin and memories grow. Lafayette Greens is a green space and urban garden in the heart of downtown Detroit, next door to the famous Coney Islands and across the street from the fabulous Westin Book Cadillac Hotel. The award-winning garden, created by Kenneth Weikal Landscape Architecture, was donated to The Greening of Detroit by Compuware in 2014 and is a place of beauty. A certified pollinator garden, focused on growing plants for butterflies, native and honey bees and birds, your ceremony could take place amongst the fluttering of butterflies, chirping of birds and happy hum of bees.

Lifepoint Chapel was built shortly after the end of the Civil War in 1869, and its earliest features have endured: 19th-century windows, white pine flooring, ornamental ceilings, and even the original church bell! This chapel seats 120 guests, along with beautiful amenities for your wedding party. We believe it’s not just about the wedding, but about the legacy your marriage will create. In 1870, the Lomis Brothers built Stag’s Leap on Baldwin Road in Oxford, Michigan. Stag’s Leap Farm, is a charming Bed & Breakfast nestled on the outskirts of Oxford, Michigan. You will find our farm an ideal spot for a romantic weekend getaway or out-of-town executives seeking a quiet place to unwind after a long workday. Their goal is for every guest to have an exceptional and happily memorable experience at Stag’s Leap. Guests always are welcome to enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of freshly brewed coffee by the fireplace in the parlor and admire some of the home’s original architecture, including a built-in desk used to log stops along with the Pony Express. Built-in 1848, the wedding barn was originally a working farm, used as a hay and milking barn on the Briggs family 500-acre farm. Once the family moved on, however, the property slowly fell into disrepair, including the barn. Luckily, right away Joel had an amazing vision for what could be the ideal spot, he saw the potential like no other for a unique Irish Hills Wedding location and was happy to buy the property in 2017. Since then, many hours and much effort have gone into creating the perfect space for weddings. As one of Michigan’s Premier Wedding Venues, this venue is a great choice!
