I have been DJing professionally for 10+ years (specializing in weddings for the last 4 years) with a passion for all types of music. I will be there to help you and answer questions along your planning journey, then crush it the day of and provide you with an epic party. Let DJ Jeremy B help you “Make Memories Through Music”!

Awarded Best of Zola
Just let me START by saying, I am a true customer who hired DJ Jeremy B for my daughter's wedding at Walnut Hall Estate in Carrollton, IL on November 16, 2024. Not a friend, not a relative, just a mom hiring a DJ. I have not been paid in any way for this review... it is 100% our honest experience. My daughter had been to a prior wedding at that venue and loved how Jeremy kept the guests dancing so he was unanimously their choice! Forward to the planning stages... my future son-in-law is a fan of Marvel and DC Comics, particularly Batman. My daughter had an idea of playing "The Batman" by Michael Giacchino for her wedding march and even chose a wedding dress that had a cape to give it a classy "Gotham" vibe. The programs were Newspaper "Breaking News" announcements also with a Gotham vibe. DJ Jeremy took that idea and CREATED a remix for the wedding march. I knew nothing of this until my daughter called and said, "MOM!!! You have to hear this... the DJ created my walk-in song and it is PERFECT! I cried it was so perfect!". She drove to our house so we could listen to it on her phone... OMG AHMAZING! The evening of the wedding, the ceremony started and after the attendants (all 8 sets) walked in, the doors shut... then a quiet drum build up to the doors swinging open to this big boom of a climax of the remix with my husband and myself walking her down the aisle. I WAS SO MOVED and it was SO PERFECT... I just can't even tell you. Jeremy is SO VERY TALENTED... he KNOWS the "feel" you're going for and NAILS it! Not to mention he's got this handlebar moustache that is just edgy and super cool. Our Groomsmen were commenting, "I want that stache!" You want the BEST DJ?... hire Jeremy! You will NOT be sorry...and if you do...ask to hear that song!! It is just crazy good.

I've always been a creative at heart, my own mother is an artist so maybe it's genetic? However, photography was never on my radar. One fateful day, a friend reached out to me requesting engagement photos for her and her love. My iPhone and I were absolutely honored at the opportunity! After the debut of those beautiful, phone quality captures, the inquiries came rolling in! I was pleasantly surprised and within months decided it was only right to invest in proper gear. Officially established in 2021, I've been beyond blessed with the chance to meet so many wonderful people and capture their once in a lifetime moments! Anya Grace 🖤

Anya was up to challenge when I asked if she would be willing to take some pictures behind my in-laws house in the woods, she said sure no problem! They turned out amazing and had that personal touch that meant a lot to us! We will be using her again soon for family photos and senior pictures!

We used Eivan's for both engagement photos and our wedding and couldn't be happier. They are wonderful about asking for your input and making sure you are truly happy with what you are getting. The photographers and videographers are the perfect mixture of professional and casual/friendly so that you are comfortable. They also actually care about you and the event itself, starting with asking you about your story. We got both a photographer, videographer, and engagement photos for a great bundle price, which was so helpful. Customer service is also fantastic about answering questions thoroughly and quickly. More than a decade ago, two sisters - knew there had to be a better way to allow talented photographers and videographers to focus on what they do best -- create gorgeous art -- while providing couples with better support in the planning process. Together, they created an all-inclusive, stress-free environment where couples can choose from talented local photographers and videographers and work with a small team of planning experts equipped and eager to make everything a success. With the pressure gone, you can truly enjoy your big day. Relax and rest assured that all the emotional and moments will be documented with unmatched quality.

We definitely recommend OLAS. Our favorite photos from the day were our fun wedding party pictures! Everything was explained clearly during the planning process and we wouldn’t change anything from the day. We received our wedding day photo gallery promptly at the time we were expected and it was a good surprise on our honeymoon.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Florist
  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Wataga, IL

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Awarded Best of Zola
Flower Moxie - Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers provided amazing and quick communication throughout the process. The flowers arrived beautifully and they provided plenty of instructions to help keep them looking their best. While I ended up ordering way too much due to not making as many arrangements as I had anticipated, the blue flowers they provided were absolutely stunning and really contributed to the beautiful floral design and color palette on our wedding day. I would highly recommend Flower Moxie to any couple looking for a reliable and high-quality DIY wedding florals option.

The Faux Bouquets

5.0

  • Florist
  • Starts at $175
  • Serves Wataga, IL

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Awarded Best of Zola
We were so delighted to use The Faux Bouquets for our wedding. We ended up having a family emergency that forced us to downsize the size and budget of the wedding just a few months before the wedding, and the team at TFB were so accommodating and helped us to find a solution that still allowed us to use their flowers in our (modified) ceremony. We were a bit concerned about the flowers getting smushed in shipping, but they arrived looking absolutely STUNNING and with plenty of time before the big day. Even my gardener of a grandma couldn't tell they weren't real flowers! We were so happy with how everything looked on the day, and in pictures they look just as lovely. Can't recommend The Faux Bouquets enough! There's no visual difference compared to real bouquets and they are much more affordable. The last big selling point that I would advise future brides, and I did not really consider this, is that because the flowers don't wilt, we could set the decor out the night before--which is a LIFESAVER to not have to worry about on the special day! Anything that will save you time and stress on the day of the wedding is a big win!
