We are the Boswell family. Wolf Run Acres is concept that came about after hosting our daughters weddings and struggling to find the country setting they wanted. After hosting one on this site under a tent we rented, we decided this is a beautiful setting for a wedding venue. We wanted to give our guests a beautiful dream country wedding, but design it to be more industrial and modern and less rustic than comparable venues. Our hope is to give each couple, a unique, beautiful setting while ensuring they have the wedding of their dreams. We work with each couple from the time we meet them through their day, making sure we meet all their needs and coordinating with their vendors to ensure they have as stress free and enjoyable day as possible.

Our Hallmark-like, unique rustic venue is a 187 working crop and miniature donkey farm, situated on a rural backroad of Highland County, Ohio. The original side of the barn was built pre 1870 and touts massive hand hewn beams and a vaulted ceiling. The barn features modern amenities including bridal and groom's suites, heat & AC, handicap accessibility, prep kitchen and convenient parking. The property also features a pristine 2.2 acre lake with fountain and a large wedding dock. The venue allows you to chose your own vendors giving you more flexibility. The barn was build in 1840 and the Victorian house in 1896, both have been restored to capture all the original charm and yet incorporate handicapped bathrooms, prep rooms, and bar. The farm is located 1/2 mile off the road down a paved lane lined with 118-year-old hedges. We only rent the property once per weekend so you have access the day before and after your wedding day, allowing you to fully enjoy your wedding day celebrating
